00:00You really feel it like we've never felt it before.
00:02I really want to drive it again.
00:03A little bit.
00:05A little bit.
00:06Talk to me about being in London at the European premiere.
00:08Sum up how you're feeling to show audiences in the UK.
00:10Well, it's been a long time coming, this film.
00:14Of course, it took two years just for Joe to figure out the CG of it all.
00:18I think it's sensational.
00:19It's thrilling.
00:20It's the most visceral experience you'll ever have in a driving movie.
00:24And it's really funny and really warm.
00:26It really is.
00:27And what about being in Silverstone?
00:29And being in the UK, just how special did that feel?
00:31Well, Silverstone is the birthplace of F1 as we know it today.
00:35And we got to spend a lot of time on the track, a couple of months.
00:40So it's a real kind of intimate, near and dear place for me.
00:46We've been there twice throughout the year and a half of filming.
00:49And it will always be a special place.
00:51And I really want to drive it again.
00:53Do you have a highlight?
00:54Well, the first time we got out in front of the crowd at Race Week 2,
00:59and it was pretty exciting.
01:01And we had our choreography, everything we were going to do.
01:04We were all set.
01:05And we get out, and we get out, and there's 100,000 fans, and my comms go down.
01:10We're driving deaf.
01:11But we pulled it out somehow.
01:13That's quite exciting, though, isn't it?
01:14We diced it up with Luciano Bacchetta.
01:17He was my trainer.
01:19We had Craig Dolby, also a hometown driver, and Duncan Kirby.
01:26And all these guys made it what it is.
01:30Made Damson and I what we were.
01:32Why was it so important, and special for you, to be actually driving the cars?
01:35Well, it's just never been done before.
01:37And the thing that we were always wrestling with is you don't feel the physics.
01:40You don't feel the speed, the forces on the body.
01:43I mean, at a high-speed corner, it really just wants to grip your head from your shoulders.
01:48It's so massive.
01:49And we're not even doing what the guys are doing.
01:51And it's just something you never, you really feel it like we've never felt it before.
01:57So you got bitten by the bug, then, you reckon?
01:59A little bit.
02:00A little bit.
02:02And what about why fans should see this on the biggest possible screen?
02:05Well, it's really, I mean, okay, you don't have to know anything about the sport.
02:10It's just, it's really funny.
02:12It's really funny.
02:13And I've got to say, it's like any good sports movie.
02:17It gives you chills at the end.
02:18And it's got that warmth of story, and I think it's really, really a great summer movie.
02:25And is it safe to say that it's up there, one of your favorite things you've done?
02:28Because you've done quite a lot, Brad.
02:29It's up there.
02:30It's up there at the top.
