Iranian TV channel struck while on-air

Iranian state TV channel Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) says it has been attacked by Israel.

The TV presenter ran off camera as debris from the strike fell in the studio.

The strike comes after Israel’s defense minister Israel Katz said earlier today that the state broadcaster was ‘about to disappear’.
