Reporting from Tel Aviv as Iran’s attack continue

It has been another night of missiles raining down on Israel from Iran as the two nations continue to trade lethal blows. CGTN’s Jonathan Regev reports from Tel Aviv, the main focus of Iran’s attack. #israel #iran

00:00So, strikes are continuing. Israeli jets are striking in Iran all the time as we speak.

00:08The Israeli chief of staff said already some 48 hours ago that as far as the Israeli jets are concerned,

00:14the skies all the way to Tehran are clear, and Israel is targeting time and time again,

00:20especially in the Iranian capital, making it a symbol pretty much as Israel targets

00:27the center of the Iranian government. It's also located in the center of the country,

00:33and the Israeli jets have acted a couple of times, even in the city of Mashhad,

00:37which is in the eastern part of Iran, nearly more than 2,000 kilometers away from Israel.

00:43So, Israel on the offensive field is clearly succeeding, but it has to be said that on the defensive field,

00:51Israel is, there are various Iranian ballistic missiles making landfall.

00:58The last barrage of rockets or missiles was fired 12 hours ago.

01:03It was just a little bit after 5 a.m. local time, and from those missiles,

01:10there have been eight people being killed altogether last night in three different places.

01:15We were earlier today in one of the sites that were hit, and the damage is severe.

01:21People were even killed inside the protected rooms inside their homes.

01:26People were acting according to instructions, doing exactly what they were told,

01:30went into the protected rooms, and even then they were killed.

01:34So, while Israel is enjoying a lot of success in attacking Iran,

01:39it is still paying quite a heavy price, and up until now, we're speaking of 24 Israelis that have been killed.

01:46That's quite a substantial number, and nothing is indicating that as long as Israel is striking,

01:52Iran will stop its strikes on its behalf.
