00:00Story begins where we can see our female lead, Lee Jung-In, at her best friend, Song Young-Jo's house, where they prepare themselves to start drinking.
00:08And suddenly, Jung-In's phone ring, and it's her boyfriend, Ki-Seok, who called her to discuss what they are going to do tomorrow.
00:16After the call ends, Young-Jo points out that Jung-In never says, I love you, to Ki-Seok, like any other couple, to which Jung-In tells her, it is not necessary to say so.

00:50She dashes out and makes a quick stop at her friend's neighborhood pharmacy, where Ji-Ho happens to be employed as a pharmacist.
00:55Jung-In takes a big swallow of the hangover medication that he opens for her, but then she remembers that she forgot her wallet at Young-Jo's.
01:04Jung-In asks Ji, Ho, if she can come and pay him later, but Ji-Ho gives him suspicious looks, to which she gets offended, and asks him for his account number so she can pay him right away.

01:18Ji-Ho leaves with some cash for a cab, as Jung-In goes off to figure out how to get to work.
01:23Just before she leaves for work, they finally introduce themselves, and he adds that he knows she will pay him back.
01:30In the next scene, we can see Jung-In and her co-worker, Ha-Rin, sharing lunch together and talking about relationships.
01:36Ki-Seok calls Jung-In's phone while they are eating.
01:40It appears that she accidentally sent him a message requesting her account number.

06:23sisters are, and Jung-In tells her that Jae-In is in her flat. Jung-In gives Seo-In a hug,
06:28and vows to support her no matter what. When Ji-Ho's co-worker at the pharmacy notices the snow,
06:33she is excited to get out of work and possibly go on a date. As Ji-Ho's co-workers leaves,
06:40Jung-In enters the drugstore, prepared to pay Ji-Ho back. When she questions Ji-Ho about why he never
06:45sent her his account information, he replies that if he had given her the account number,
06:50then he wouldn't have been able to see her again. When Ji-Ho asks if she wants dinner,
06:54Jung-In says she doesn't eat with strangers. Ji-Ho mockingly tells her that he isn't stranger
06:59because she memorized her number to which Jung-In says it wasn't intentional, rather she have a
07:04good memory. After witnessing Jung-In go away, Ji-Ho can no longer contain his excitement and starts
07:11running after her. Though Jung-In has already left, he dashes through the snow to get down the street.
07:16Jung-In leaves the corner store she snuck into and makes her way to Jung-Joo's apartment.
07:21When the door at Jung-Joo's buzzes, Jung-In goes to get the chicken they ordered.
07:25However, Ji-Ho is in front of the delivery man. Although Ji-Ho doesn't say anything and simply
07:31keeps going up the stairs, Jung-In believes that he has followed her. Eventually, he opens his own
07:36door and enters and soon comes the delivery guy. Jung-In realizes Ji-Ho was not following him and
07:43feel ashamed of accusing him. Ji-Ho opens a drink in his flat and checks his messages. Jung-In has
07:49texted him to apologize for confusion that have occurred. He looks out the window smiling and hears
07:54Jung-In outside taking a cab. He replies to her text message, wishing her a secure ride home.
08:00Suddenly, Ji-Ho rushes down his apartment stairs into the snow while wearing his coat.
08:06Jung-In is standing outside the pharmacy, waiting for him. She nearly gives up and heads out,

08:58in the drugstore with Jung-In's teacup set by his side. On the other side, Jung-In is home, using her
09:05phone in the dark. Next day, Jung-In has a day off from work, and she is sitting and relaxing in her
09:11apartment when her sister forces her to take her out for Kai-Seok's dinner party. When the sisters
09:16walk inside the gym while the game is still going on, Jung-In's expression freezes when she sees Ji-Ho
09:22playing on the court. After a weird encounter between Ji-Ho and Ki-Seok, Ji-Ho looks up into the stands
09:28and sees Jung-In. As he misses a pass to her, his face freezes and he completely loses consciousness.

10:55and takes out a binder. She uploads another photo as the doorbell rings, flipping among pictures of
11:00injuries. Before allowing her mother to enter the flat, Seo-In quickly puts the notebook back in the
11:05safe. While her mom complains about the drastic changes her daughter has after getting married,
11:10Seo-In makes coffee for her. Mom questions whether it would be preferable if Jung-In and Jae-In

11:38when Jung-In goes past him on her way to the washroom in the snow. After stopping Jung-In,
11:44Ji-Ho says that the washroom is occupied. As she waits, Jung-In listens in on Ji-Ho's talk,
11:49where he is talking to his son, and asks his son to repeat what he just said because he couldn't
11:54hear. When Yoon-Woo questions as to whether Ji-Ho has been drinking, he looks at Jung-In and then
12:00lies, saying, No, I didn't. Ji-Ho promises his soon-to-see him in two days. When Jung-In returns,
12:07Ji-Ho is still outside. Later, as they stroll back to the restaurant, Ji-Ho admits that Yoon-Woo
12:12dislikes his drinking. Ji-Ho is pleased to discover his other friend has joined them at the table when he
12:17returns. According to their jobs, Ji-In keeps Ji-Ho's buddies straight. One is a recently arrived
12:23friend who is a civil servant student, and the other works with Ki-Seok. Ji-Ho's friend asked
12:29Ji-In to predict what Ji-Ho does. Ji-In asked them to give her clues, and even after all the clues,
12:35she couldn't guess what job Ji-Ho does. Jung-In gets annoyed and answers that Ji-Ho is pharmacist.
12:42Everyone pause for a second to understand how Jung-In knows about Ji-Ho's job. Ji-Ho adds,
12:49I mentioned earlier that I'm a chemist, to support her narrative. Ji-In asserts that she is the most
12:54attractive of the Lee sisters when Ki-Seok's co-worker compliments them as astonishing.

13:28since she is worried about her. The group moves to a karaoke club after dinner. The same song was
13:34selected by Ji-Ho and Jung-Gin. They both move forward to grab the microphone as soon as the song begins.
13:39Ji-Ho needs to leave for a call, but they are urged to sing it together. He comes back for a brief
13:45moment to talk with his friends before leaving. Jung-In turns the music off and asks about Ji-Ho,
13:50to which all his friends tell her is that Ji-Ho had urgent family issue. When an aspiring civil servant

14:07he rushes to find Yoon-Woo, who is curled up next to his grandparents in bed. Ji-Ho's father tells Ji-Ho
14:13that doctor believes he may have gastroenteritis, but they will know more after receiving the results
14:18of his tests. Ji-Ho's father scolds her mother for calling Ji-Ho to which Ji-Ho takes her mother's
14:25side by saying, He is my kid, and I should know about him. After sending his parents home to get some rest,
14:31Ji-Ho sits down with Yoon-Woo. Ji-Ho asks his son if he is okay and to tell him if he has any pain,
14:39to which his son tells him, I am fine, and all my pain is gone after seeing you. Ji-Ho promises his
14:45son to always be by his side so he will never fall sick again. At the broadcast station,
14:51Seo-In runs into a co-worker who recently saw Shi-Hoon. He takes Seo-In to Shi-Hoon's set and asks her that
14:58she pay him a visit. Shi-Hoon wraps his arm around her as if nothing is wrong, and Seo-In cringes.

15:39to chat with a cute five-year-old girl. While Young-Joo warn her friends that children are scary
15:44because they are so innocent and pure in their nature, Jung-In observes the girl leave. In the next
15:49scene, we can see Ji-Ho, where his mother is keen that she stay with Yoon-Woo at the hospital,
15:55so that Ji-Ho can go back to work. Ji-Ho is considering returning home, but his mother
16:01tells him he won't have time to visit Yoon-Woo because of the commute. His mother inquires
16:05about Ji-Ho's dating history, out of concern. When she questions if he's met somebody special,
16:11Ji-Ho responds, No, not yet. When his mother reassures Ji-Ho that he will find his soulmate,
16:17and then jokes that she must locate him quickly, Ji-Ho smiles. Ji-Ho's friend receives a text message
16:22during his coffee meet with Ki-Seok, informing them that one of the team members is unable to play.
16:28Ki-Seok's questions, Ji-Ho's friend, asking him about Ji-Ho's whereabouts. Ji-Ho's friend reveals to

17:44back at work the next morning. After Ji-Ho leaves, Jung-In receives a text saying, I'll wait for you

18:32I'd appreciate it if you did not assume or care about things I don't mention from now on.
18:37When Ji-Ho accepts to become friends despite her warning, Jung-In becomes startled. Before picking
18:43up Jung-In, Ji-Ho has to regain his breath after sprinting to his car. When Jung-In notices some
18:48glittery stickers of dinosaurs on the space in between the seats, she takes out her phone to take
18:53a photo. Ji-Ho pulls over and checks his rearview mirror in front of Jung-In's building. He informs Jung-In

20:09marriage is brought up, he fears that her response will be worse. Ki-Seok questions why a lady who
20:15typically understands what she wants is being so obscure. Jung-In suddenly says,

20:26Next day, when Ji-Ho takes Yun-Woo to park, he doesn't like it much and says it would rather be in

20:38she's at work as he watches Yun-Woo on the swings. Ji-Ho informs Yun-Woo that they are heading out to
20:44visit some dinosaurs while they are in the car. In the meantime, Jung-In heads to the archive area
20:50and selects a couple of kid-friendly novels using the picture of Yun-Woo's stickers. When Jung-In
20:55realizes what she's doing, she runs into a bathroom to fix her hair and then exits. As soon as Yun-Woo
21:01enters the library, he runs away, and Ji-Ho is startled to hear someone gasp. Yun-Woo looks up at
21:07Yun-Woo at the library, curious as to whether or not she is his mother. Ji-Ho is taken aback. He snatches
21:13his son by his shoulders and asks for an explanation of his words. As his father becomes furious,
21:18Yun-Woo closes down, but Jung-In intervenes and diverts his attention with the dinosaur books she
21:23brought. After helping Yun-Woo settle down, Ji-Ho and Jung-In go away to the locker room to have a
21:29little conversation. Ji-Ho apologizes, and Jung-In acknowledges that she was surprised because she
21:35had no idea that Ji-Ho was a harsh father. Although there is a hint of humor in her tone, she reminds
21:41Ji-Ho that he should apologize to Yun-Woo and that he shouldn't get worked up about trivial issues.
21:47As she makes her way to the lifts, Ji-Ho offers to take Jung-In for a cup of coffee,

22:41Shi-Hoon quickly answers the call, almost at his car and gives the library a yearning glance.

22:51Ji-Ho asks Yun-Woo why he said that, but Yun-Woo remains silent. Ji-Ho brings Yun-Woo into bed,

23:39You stay on the third floor. Young-Ju labor. On the other hand, Jung-In wears a children's mask,
23:46and Jae-In teases her about it. Jung-In informs her that Seo-In is aware about her being in Korea.
23:52Jae-In replies that she will visit her elder sister when Shi-Hoon isn't present. When Jung-In queries
23:58why Jae-In has always hated Shi-Hoon, she ignores the question, saying that people might be disliked
24:03randomly. Shi-Hoon welcomes his office workers and asks them to turn over a rent fee that is overdue.
24:09Shi-Hoon call his friend, who practices divorce law, and attempts to extract information from him
24:14about just how straightforward it would be for him to auction off his apartment and keep his wife
24:19in the dark. While her spouse is plotting, Seo-In gets an opportunity to host a brand new program
24:24at work that she would be the only one hosting. Seo-In was chosen because of her gentle and pure
24:30image, which makes her ideal for the middle-aged ladies they wish to attract. When Seo-In's supervisor
24:35learns that she is simply shocked rather than thrilled about the news, she is taken aback.
24:41But when Seo-In is by herself, she leans against a wall. However, to make matters more stressful,
24:47her real estate agent calls her and inform her that her flat is being used as security for an
24:51enormous amount of debt his husband has racked up. Seo-In promises to talk to her husband about the
24:57situation and come back to them on the sale. In the next scene, Young-Joo approaches Jung-In at the
25:03library to make fun of her regarding the chemist. Even though Jung-In is firm that Ji-Ho is simply
25:08another graduate from Ki-Seok's college. Young-Joo tells her friend that she's in serious difficulty
25:13after realizing that Jung-In's fussing over the matter indicates that there's more going on than
25:18simple acquaintances. Meanwhile, Ki-Seok shows up to Ji-Ho's pharmacy to request some stress-relieving
25:24vitamins. He tells Ji-Ho about his girlfriend's stress level and gets vitamins for her family.
25:30Even though Ji-Ho tries his best to maintain a neutral demeanor. As Ji-Ho leads Ki-Seok outdoors,
25:36Ki-Seok implies that their conversation about marriage has caused an issue to arise between them.
25:42Ji-Ho is obviously upset about this, as it is not expected news to him.
25:46After becoming sidetracked for the rest of his workday, Ji-Ho leaves for the cafe,
25:51where he and Jung-In were sitting together. In the next scene, along with other friends,
25:55Chairman Kwon and Jung-In's father get together for lunch. Speaking of Jung-In and Ki-Seok,
26:00those friends are excited to show off their youngsters. While Jung-In's father is certain
26:05that their children are happy together and are just taking their time, Chairman Kwon continues to
26:09demand that the two should break up, while on the other hand, Ki-Seok brings the vitamins he received
26:14from Ji-Ho to Jung-In. He states that he hopes they work soon, and that he chose them because
26:20Jung-In has been acting so too sensitively lately. Ki-Seok reveals that Ji-Ho has a son. Ki-Seok
26:27explains that he heard it from friends they have in common. He reveals Jung-In the entire tale of
26:33Ji-Ho's girlfriend's disappearance following Yoon-Woo's birth. When Ki-Seok remarks that Ji-Ho should
26:38have done more in order to keep her girl around, Jung-In becomes enraged right away. She snaps back,
26:45saying that her feelings had simply shifted and had nothing to do with becoming healthier.
26:50Concluding on yet another depressing note, as Jung-In exits the vehicle, Ki-Seok follows accordingly,
26:55urging her to take her vitamins no matter what. When Jung-In encounters Jae-In in the lift, Jae-In refuses to
27:02say whose friends she is going to see. Shortly after, Ki-Seok gives Jung-In a call and inquires as
27:08to whether having coffee together would have been preferable. When he inquires as to whether he
27:12should go to her apartment right now, Jung-In pretends that Jae-In is there. Even if he keeps
27:17it from her, Ki-Seok is aware that it is a lie. He continues to wait outside her flat, as he sees Jae-In
27:24board a cab. While on the other hand, Ji-Ho is so miserable, but then Jung-In answers his phone.
27:29Ji-Ho asks if she received the vitamins. While talking, Ji-Ho tells Jung, in that people used
27:35to tell him she didn't think he knew how to joke, when she inquires as to whether he changed his
27:39purse. Next day, Young-In's mother has arrived downstairs in the lobby with some meals. However,
27:45Jae-In happens to pass through the lobby at that precise moment, and her mom sees her.
27:50Young-In's mom comes to know that Jae-In left her degree in France without telling anyone.
27:55As Ji-Ho packs up more goodies for his friend, Young-J, his other chemists, mock him. Young-J says
28:02he saw the person Ji-Ho went to college with while out in the neighborhood with some friends. When Ji-Ho
28:07inquires as to his intentions, Young-J clarifies that he is referring to Ki-Seok's girlfriend.
28:12When the doorbell rings, Jae-In visits her sister, Seo-In, who is dozing off on the couch. Jae-In informs Seo-In
28:20that her mother is aware of her return, and seeks help from Seo-In in getting employment at her company.
28:26Jae-In quickly drops to her knees and extends her hands to receive the money when Seo-In pulls her
28:31wallet. When Jae-In asks where Shi-Ho is, Seo-In replies that he will be out late, while avoiding
28:37reality of her relation. In reality though, Shi-Ho and Ki-Seok are dining together. Shi-Ho remarks how all
28:44the girls in that family are challenging, and Ki-Seok reveals the recent conflict between him and Jung-In.
28:50Ki-Seok adds how much busier work has become, and Shi-Ho is excited to share that he's thinking
28:55about expanding his clinic by applying for a loan, while repeatedly filling Ki-Seok's glasses,
29:01and eliminate all of the unnecessary documentation. Even though Ki-Seok is obviously uneasy, he doesn't
29:07refuse. On the other side, Ji-Ho and Young-J finishes their dinner. Young-J pays the bill right away because
29:14he has to return to his studies. However, Ji-Ho requests to continue the conversation,
29:19and mentions that he may wish to go on a date. Young-J gets really curious, and asks if this
29:24girl is someone all of them know. The following evening, Young-In pays Ki-Seok a visit at work,
29:30to greet him as he leaves. Before Ki-Seok arrives, his friend Hyun-Soo notices her first,
29:35and strikes up a conversation. Hyun-Soo says he's off to meet Ji-Ho, whom he believes to be in a
29:40relationship. In the next scene, Ki-Seok brings Jung-In to a fancy restaurant, she appears gloomy.
29:46After inquiring about her vitamin intake, he questions her regarding Seo-In. He brings up Shi-Hoon,
29:52and Jung-In responds that problems arise in every marriage. Ki-Seok returns the conversation to their
29:57own hypothetical marriage. Ki-Seok questions as to whether they've reached a place where they must
30:02continue to work on their relationship, to which Jung-In responds that they are going to need some time to
30:07reflect. Then he asks if there's another guy before pulling the trigger. Before Jung-In responds,
30:13there's a long silence during which she tells him no. When Ki-Seok asks again, she responds no. But this
30:19time, her hand is clenched into the tablecloth. Next day when Jung-In is among the stacks working,
30:24Ji-Ho arrives at the library. Ki-Seok also shows up outside, and proceeds to go inside. Ji-Ho follows
30:31clueless Jung-In through the shelves in the stacks, observing her. As Ki-Seok is seen by Young-J,
30:37close to the new books, she leads him inside to where Jung-In is working. When Jung-In eventually
30:42looks up, she sees a glimpse of Ji-Ho. She dashes to the aisle and looks through every book row in
30:48quest for Ji-Ho. When she turns around, Ki-Seok rather than Ji-Ho is facing her. With amazement
30:54flashing across Jung-In's eyes, Ki-Seok inquires if she was expecting someone else, and why is she so
31:00shocked? Confused, she requests that Ki-Seok wait for her outside. When she's by herself, Jung-In looks
31:07for Ji-Ho, but he's not there. When Ji-Ho doesn't respond to Jung-In's text message,
31:11she encounters Ki-Seok. Ki-Seok offers to bring his car over, and so Jung-In goes to gather her
31:17belongings. Since Ji-Ho has already left the library, Jung-In finds a quiet place to contact him.
31:23Ji-Ho reminds Jung-In that he moved on and that he stated he couldn't remain for going back,
31:28as she tries to meet with him face to face. Outside, Ji-Ho wanders around, unsure of what to do,
31:34while Jung-In is unsure of what she must do. Jung-In hesitates before going to see Ki-Seok,
31:40as she leaves the library. Ki-Seok witnesses Ji-Ho crossing the street at a stoplight
31:45as they leave the library. When Ki-Seok sees Jung-In, he rolls down his window and shouts
31:50a hello at Ji-Ho, who pauses. They share a hello, after which Jung-In and Ki-Seok leaves. While Jung-In
31:57and Ki-Seok were having conversation, Jung-In asks Ki-Seok if he is okay with her having guy friends.
32:04Ki-Seok tells her that he thinks her strong personality is what makes her attractive and
32:09expresses disbelief that Jung-In gives any attention about what he thinks. When Jung-In inquires about
32:14whether or not they ought to be married, Ki-Seok isn't satisfied with her chilly enthusiasm and says
32:19there's no urgency. On the other hand, Jung-J is taken aback by Jae-In at his academy
32:25when she offers dinner. Jung-J looks through a bag full of vitamins that she gave him F,
32:30saying, no one in my family needs them, while grilling the meat. When Jae-In inquires about
32:35the number of times Jung-J has not passed the civil service exam, he accurately predicts that it has
32:40happened five times. Jae-In admits to Jung-J that she is similar to Jung-In, in that no one in our
32:47family can stop her when she puts her mind on something that she really wants. Jae-In believes
32:52that Jung-In's mediocre romantic life is the reason behind her laziness. Young-J admits that
32:58he thinks Jung-In and Ki-Seok look fine together. When Jae-In asks, what about us? Young-J clears his
33:04throat as Jae-In gets him off gourd. On the other hand, Yoon-Woo listens to a bedtime story by Ji-Ho
33:10till he sleeps off. While his mom is out socializing with the neighbors, Ji-Ho unexpectedly offers
33:16grabbing a drink with dad. His father asks Ji-Ho over Soju whether something is wrong,
33:21but he stays silent. In the next scene, Ki-Seok discovers that Jae-In is home. He changes his mind
33:27about going into the house and parks in front of Jung-In's residence. When Jung-In learns what Ki-Seok
33:32was thinking, she becomes furious. When he objects, she reminds him that although couples are not required
33:37to ask for consent to have sex, they still need to ask. Disappointed, Ki-Seok instructs Jung-In to
33:43just state that she has no desire to, so she says, I don't want to, to him. As soon as Ki-Seok closes
33:50the door, Jung-In exits her vehicle and drives off. Scene switches back to Jung-In's parents' house.
33:56Ji-Ho's father talks on the difficulties of parenting a child with exceptional academic
34:01ability. His parents were always on the lookout for calls regarding academic competitions,
34:06scholarships, and specialized schools from Ji-Ho's teachers. Ji-Ho's parents couldn't do much to aid
34:12their kid, and his father wonders whether that's why Ji-Ho's life played out in the manner it did.
34:17Ji-Ho stands up for Yoon-Woo, saying, I don't bother he was brought to me for whatever reason.
34:22I wouldn't trade him for anything. As he was raised nicely, Ji-Ho urges his father not be anxious about
34:28him, and he makes a commitment to raise Yoon-Woo similarly. Scene switches where Jung-In calls Seo-In.
34:35Seo-In knows right away that something is off. Jung-In asks her sister for advice regarding Ki-Seok,
34:41and asks her, I can't turn my back on him now, right? Seo-In assumes that there is another man,
34:47and begs Jung-In to consider her happiness. After wiping away her tears, Jung-In says there isn't
34:53another person. Next day, as Jung-In and her co-workers wait for the lift in the library,
34:58Ha-Rin remarks that Jung-In appears depressed. Although Jung-In claims to be all right,
35:02Ha-Rin is more familiar with her than that. Scene switches from there.
35:07Just as Ji-Ho's mother and Yoon-Woo are leaving the local library, Ji-Ho's mother called Ji-Ho. She
35:13puts Yoon-Woo on the phone, and the kid argues, this isn't it. When Ji-Ho says he would take his
35:18son to Jung-In's library on a later date, Yoon-Woo becomes impatient and tells his father, I hate you.
35:25When Ji-Ho's mother volunteers to take Yoon-Woo to the library, he tells her to take him home instead.
35:30In the next scene, we can see Jung-In exits the bus, across from Ji-Ho's drugstore.
35:35She discovers it is closed. While walking to Young-Joo's apartment, Jung-In walks past the
35:39restaurant where Ji-Ho is having dinner, but she doesn't catch a glimpse of him.
35:43When Jung-In reaches Young-Joo's building, she stares up at Ji-Ho's empty window before stepping
35:48upstairs. When Ji-Ho returns home, he looks at Young-Joo's window before approaching his flat.
35:54Next day after a calligraphy lesson, Jung-In's mother tells her friend that she always wanted to
35:59pursue art education. A call from Ji-Ho interrupts her. While on the other hand, when the glass lift
36:05stops at Ji-Ho's floor, her supervisor notices her dozing off. As soon as he enters, he mentions the
36:11new program that Ji-Ho was given, describing it as a chance of a lifetime. Her supervisor is unable to
36:17comprehend Ji-Ho's hesitation and is pressuring her to accept the offer right away. Her supervisor
36:23holds the door wide as he leaves the lift to emphasize that Ji-Ho's big break will come from
36:28the show. Whereas, on the other hand, Chairman Kwon is at the dentist when Jung-In's father goes
36:33looking for him at the school. Dad wants Ji-Ho to give his boss special treatment and tells him to do
36:39so over the phone. Ji-Ho is quite polite on his cell phone, but once he hangs up, his frustration is
36:45clear. Chairman Kwon is greeted warmly by Ji-Ho, who welcomes him inside before his other patients.
36:51While Ki-Seok has been too busy to see his father, Ji-Ho talks about his latest visit with him.
36:56Chairman Kwon laughs as Ji-Ho explains helpfully,
36:59He asked me how he can build a happy marriage. Yesul, Ji-Ho's co-worker, notifies their supervisor
37:05that Ji-Ho is acting oddly. Looking out of the back area, they observe Ji-Ho gazing out the window.
37:10They are aware that he hasn't been eating lunch, but he catches them and reassures them that everything
37:15is well. After Ji-Ho clarifies that he is not eating and is preoccupied,
37:19His employer interrogates him, telling him that,
37:22It's because of a woman, right? Ji-Ho opposes it, as their supervisor reminds Ji-Ho saying,
37:28I've clarified to you that your life matters too. As Young-Joo enters the store, Ji-Ho's employer
37:34departs for the day, and Young-Joo mentions that she heard you and Jung-In know each other while
37:38shopping. After learning that Young-Joo is Jung-In's colleague, Ji-Ho musters the confidence to inquire
37:44how Jung-In is doing. After a while, Young-Joo calls Jung-In, inquiring as to whether there is
37:49a relationship between her and Ji-Ho. When Jung-In asks for specifics of their chat, Young-Joo abruptly
37:55interrupts, saying, Hold on! Ji-Ho entered the exact same shop where Young-Joo was shopping,
38:01and from what we can see, she pretended to be talking on a cell phone with her mom. Young-Joo says to
38:07Jung-In, I did not recall for a moment that he's my neighbor. Young-Joo gets bombarded with questions
38:12from Jung-In, who concludes the call by saying she has to go. When Ki-Seok goes to see his father,
38:18he brings up Shi-Hoon right away and tells his son to keep maintaining his distance. Chairman Kwon
38:23makes it quite obvious that he disapproves of Ki-Seok, simply by allowing her to date Jung-In.
38:28Chairman Kwon stated gratitude that Ki-Seok stopped discussing resuming his musical career.
38:34However, now that he has composed himself, his father wishes for him to terminate their connection.
38:38The moment Ki-Seok declares his intention to wed Jung-In, Chairman Kwon labels his son an idiot.
38:45In the next scene, Jae-In and Jung-In go to the local market to get snacks. While walking home,
38:51Jung-In mentions that their mother gives them side dishes, but Jae-In assumes that their mother is
38:55still upset with her. Although Jae-In neglected to inform Jung-In about mom's discovery, Jung-In discovers
39:02that mom is aware of Jae-In. Seo-In's hour-long pre-dinner sleep ends when mom wakes her up.
39:08Her mom is worried that since they drove separately, they won't be able to make it home with Shi-Hoon
39:12as he is leaving the garage. Mom asks everyone to join her for dinner, but her partner has already
39:17begun. When inquired about his clinic, Shi-Hoon reveals his intentions to grow and his father
39:23suggests moving to a wealthy area. Rich neighborhoods are pricey, Jung-In's mom point out, but her dad is
39:29convinced that the more you invest, the more you'll earn. Shi-Hoon brings up Ki-Seok, who is under stress
39:36as a result of Jung-In. When Seo-In's spouse implies that Ki-Seok want to wed Jung-In as soon as
39:41possible, Seo-In gives him a fierce look. Is Jung-In an obedient dog, or what? Seo-In asks,
39:48in response to dad's suggestion that Ki-Seok disregard Jung-In in order to get his way. Seo-In
39:54threatens to permanently lose Jung-In if her father makes her marry someone else. While leaving from
40:00Jung-In's parents' home, Shi-Hoon tries to grab Seo-In away, after realizing he's been too forgiving of her.
40:06When a stranger walks into the garage and Seo-In is pursuing to her car, he is compelled to let go.
40:12While on the other hand, when Ji-Ho gets to the pharmacy, the side street is blocked by construction
40:16workers. After being forced to park farther away, Ji-Ho dashes to the drugstore in time to see Jung-In,
40:23but he doesn't have a lab coat since he can't find it. Jung-In receives a text from Ki-Seok asking her
40:28what she's doing just as she approaches the pharmacy. When Jung-In enters the pharmacy and brings up Ji-Ho's
40:34missing lab coat. He lies and tells her that he was ready to depart. When Ki-Seok returns to the team
40:40meal, the boys make fun of his nearly inevitable marriage. Ki-Seok feels pressured by Hyun-Soo to
40:45invite Jung-In plus one of her single acquaintances to accompany him in order to support his single
40:50colleagues. While Ji-Ho is working on her order, Jung-In receives a call and he advises her to use the
40:56back room, where the noise from the construction won't be audible. When Jung-In phones Ki-Seok,
41:02the boys yell at her to come hang out with them. Ki-Seok wants to stop at her place first,
41:07even though Jung-In proposes that he just go home. While they are still talking, Jung-In asks Ji-Ho why
41:13he came to the library, to which he responds that it was so he could see her. The random sound of a
41:18jackhammer interrupts their heated conversation. Jung-In and Ji-Ho don't say anything while driving to her
41:24house. Ji-Ho admits that he visited the library in the hopes that Jung-In would initiate contact
41:30once he parks his car. Jung-In acknowledges that she has been as irrational, continually seeking
41:35a friendship with Ji-Ho and making special efforts to visit him. Jung-In describes Ji-Ho as a good man
41:42and expresses gratitude for having met him.
