“Operation is going to…” Disaster Management Chief informs about rescue Ops at bridge collapse site

Pune (Maharashtra), June 16, 2025 (ANI): Chief of Pimpri-Chinchwad Disaster Management Department Omprakash Bahival said, "When this incident happened, I alerted our team of PCMC (Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation), along with Aapda Mitra, fire brigade and NDRF... We also received a call from the army and we did not invite them since there was lack of space here. CRPF Brigadier has come here... 6 people have been admitted to ICU, 38 have been rescued and some more people might be under the debris. We have installed lights, stopped water from the dams... Operation is going on to check if there is a body under the bridge..."
