00:00I'm Ellen Burstyn, and thank you for watching Life Minute TV.
00:15It was one of the more difficult things I've ever done.
00:19There were so many challenges in it, in terms of physical changes, and I think I lost 40 pounds,
00:27starting with a fat suit and then getting down to, I think I lost actual off my body, 10.
00:35And just all the things she goes through, you know.
00:39There's one scary scene that sticks in my mind. I'm not looking forward to seeing it again tonight.
00:45It was just really heartfelt to shoot.
00:51We are so excited to be able to be here tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival
00:56because this is the night that we are giving the Made in New York Award
01:00to the most iconic and talented filmmaker I've ever met, Darren Aronofsky.
01:06You know, it's been 10 years since we've been able to give out and celebrate the Made in New York Award,
01:12which is a real sign of excellence for filmmakers and individuals who really worked hard to help this city and made an impact.
01:20You know, he is the iconic filmmaker. He made that film in New York with his first, is my understanding,
01:26and it made such a difference.
01:28As one of my daughters, who's also a filmmaker, was telling me a moment ago,
01:32it's a film that came up with a whole shooting technique that made a real difference.
01:36So, at the very least, I mean, for that, but his stories are so meaningful.
01:42They're amazing New York stories, and they really celebrate filmmaking as we do it in New York.
