Julia Fox stars alongside Tim Heidecker, Marta Pozzan, Kevin Kline, Fisher Stevens, and Gina Gershon in Fior Di Latte written and directed by Charlotte Ercoli. We got to talk to Fox about all she's up to lately ahead of the Tribeca Festival debut of the offbeat comedy at the Village East by Angelika in New York City Monday night. The film follows New York playwright, Mark (Tim Heidecker) as his desperation for inspiration leads him to turn to an unlikely muse: huffing an old bottle of Italian perfume. Convinced the fading scent holds the key to his next masterpiece--and the memory of a perfect vacation--Mark spirals into a surreal, scent-fueled quest to recreate the fragrance and reignite his creativity. However, as his obsession with the past intensifies, he begins to lose his present. Keep tuned in to LifeMinute.TV for daily coverage of the fest running from June 4-15.

00:00It's Julia Fox, and you are watching Life Minute TV.
00:09We are here to see Pure Delatte, directed by Charlotte Ercoli, her directorial debut.
00:16Tim Heidecker's in it. We're actually in another movie together as well, so I just love working with him.
00:23The whole cast is really amazing, and this film is unlike anything else.
00:26It's just so quirky and charming.
00:30I wrote the movie, and I directed the movie, and I wrote the original songs as well, and edited the movie, actually.
00:37I made it with a lot of very, very good people.
00:41Julia just walks on a set, and she knows exactly what to do.
00:44You really don't have to overly direct her in any way, and she and Kevin Kline are so funny in this movie.
00:53Charlotte is an amazing creative mind.
00:56It's really special. It's got a surrealist element, and I'm excited for everyone to see it and to get to see her mind.
01:05I've seen many, many cuts of this movie, and I'm excited to see everybody laughing and having a jolly good time.
01:10I just hope they laugh and enjoy themselves and have a good time.
01:14I have a lot of movies coming out, so I'm just on a never-ending press tour right now.
01:19I like to spend time with my baby and go to the park and play on the swings and the slide, and we just have a really great time together.
01:27You miss 100% of the shots you don't take, so I think it's just important to just keep trying new things and not limiting yourself and living your true, authentic self.
01:37And be cringe. It's okay, because it's not that serious.
