00:00 (upbeat music)
00:02 - Hi, I'm Lucy Liu and you're watching Life Minute TV.
00:05 (upbeat music)
00:07 I play Rebecca and I play the mom
00:14 and it's about a family, so it's the four of us.
00:19 - Do you relate as a mom to your character?
00:22 - Well, you'll see.
00:26 - It's different.
00:29 - So I play the role of Ryan.
00:31 He has this really strong connection with Kalina
00:33 because we're both sort of broken humans
00:35 and I think that's where we find our connection
00:37 and that's where we really bond in the film.
00:39 I just met Julia actually today,
00:41 which was, she's so sweet, so wonderful.
00:44 Lucy and Chris are like the greatest.
00:47 They are like leading us and showing us the ropes
00:50 and they're such great mentors.
00:52 - So I play Chloe and she is a very traumatized teenager.
00:56 I think she's been through a lot for her age
00:58 and yeah, she's really learning and growing and exploring
01:00 and she develops this interesting relationship
01:03 with the presence and yeah, it's very interesting for sure.
01:08 - Oh my God, it was magical.
01:09 I learned so much.
01:11 Like every day on set felt like a master class
01:13 in cinematography.
01:14 Like watching the way Steven works was,
01:16 it was insane, you know?
01:18 - My best piece of life advice, don't give up.
01:20 I think it's so easy.
01:25 Don't give up on yourself.
01:27 [MUSIC PLAYING]
