00:00Ladies, sometimes we have to speak life over ourselves.

00:04About three years ago, I found myself in a long trial,

00:09and it was wreaking havoc over my mind, over my home,

00:14over everything that was dear to me.

00:17It was as if a hurricane had hit our home in the spirit realm.

00:22And I remember I was feeling frantic.

00:25My thoughts were all over the place.

00:27I was thinking the worst.

00:28I was going negative.

00:30Yes, I was going negative because it was just, it was constant.

00:33You know, when you're going through something, it's just constant.

00:35It's like there's no relief.

00:37So you're constantly being inundated in your thoughts and the circumstances.

00:40Well, I called my mom, and I was just frantic, and I was desperate.

00:45And I said, Mom, you got to pray with me.

00:46You got to fast with me.

00:47I don't know what's going to happen.

00:49And I was just going on and on and on and on.

00:51And she finally stopped me and said, Stephanie, I'm going to pray with you.

00:55I'm going to fast with you.

00:57But right now, it's time.

01:00You have to start speaking life over yourself.

01:03You have to start speaking life over your home.

01:05You have to start speaking life over the situation.

01:08And you need to get into your prayer closet and allow God to steal your thoughts.

01:13Because my thoughts were kind of like irrational, erratic.

01:17It was just, it was not, I was not in a good place because of what was going on.

01:21It was a constant cycle that was going on.

01:24And so I did what she said, and I began to speak life over myself.

01:28And I got into that posture of prayer.

01:30And the Lord began to bring peace into my life.

01:32Nothing had changed, but he brought peace and helped me to steal my thoughts.

01:38And so it reminds me of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5.

01:42It's a phenomenal story that always ministers to me.

01:46And I'm going to bring out just one thing that applies to what I'm talking about.

01:50She had been sick for 12 long years.

01:52No physician could heal her.

01:54She was sick.

01:55She was getting worse, the scripture says.

01:57She had no support group.

01:59She had no one telling her, you can do this.

02:01She had to talk to herself.

02:03And let me tell you what I read here, and it just kind of jumped out at me, is in Mark

02:09chapter 5, she hears about Jesus who does these miracles, signs, and wonders.

02:14She doesn't know much, but she knows she needs a miracle.

02:16She needs to be healed.

02:17She's tired.

02:18She's weary.

02:19She's exhausted.

02:21She thinks it's over.

02:22So she makes the way through the crowd.

02:24And the scripture says that one of many versions say she thought, some say she said, well, I'm

02:30going to use right now.

02:31She thought, she thought to herself, if I can just touch his garment, I will be healed.

02:37If I can just touch the hem of his garment, some people say, I will be made whole.

02:41And the Bible says immediately she was healed.

02:44I want to encourage you that no matter what you're going through right now, to start speaking

02:48life over yourself, to start speaking life into your situation.

02:52Because death and life are in the power of the tongue.
