00:00There's a scripture in the Bible that I have leaned on many times, John 16, 33, where Jesus says,

00:08I have told you these things that in me, ye may have peace. And then he goes on to say,

00:13you're going to go through some tribulation. We're going to go through some trials. We're

00:17going to be tested and tried. We are going to experience loss and grief and devastation,

00:23calamities and hurt and pain. But then he says, take heart. He says, be of good cheer,

00:28for I have overcome the world. And I remember a time when my husband worked, we were in this

00:34seven year stint where there was chaos going on in our home. There was addiction going on in our home

00:40and I was not sleeping. It was affecting my sleeping patterns. It was affecting both of us.

00:47I was restless. I had so much anxiety. It was unbelievable. And I knew we were in spiritual

00:54warfare and I had to get into my prayer closet and pray. I had to fast. I had to get into the word.

00:59I had to block out the wrong voices and start praying more than listening to everyone around

01:05me because everybody had an opinion, but not everyone was being advised by God. I had to get

01:10into my prayer closet and get advice from God. And that is where peace came to me because the scripture

01:18says his peace passes all understanding. And I want to encourage you, wherever you are today,

01:25whatever you are dealing with, to read John 16, 33 and let God give you his peace. Let him pour

01:33his peace into you. Let him replace that anxiety, that depression, that loneliness,

01:38those anxious, restless thoughts, those sleepless nights. Let him replace all of that with his peace.
