00:00How special is it to be back here, especially with the 10-year Hamilton anniversary?
00:04It's amazing.
00:06Good shows open every single year, but you'd be hard-pressed if you spun the block
00:11to find any of them that are still occupying the same theater 10 years later.
00:15We really know how lucky we are.
00:18We have lightning in a bottle with this show.
00:20And reuniting with everyone, what was that like kind of coming back?
00:23I heard the rehearsals was yesterday, I believe?
00:25Yeah, I will never forget the big bear hug that I walked into right off the plane from L.A.
00:31I walked into a big bear hug from just 30 of my nearest and dearest, and that's what it is.
00:38It's this experience that only we had, you know, building this thing and hoping that people would like it
00:46and being, you know, worried, of course, but, you know, to look back on how far we've come,
00:54and it's just extraordinary.
00:56And you're making your Hamilton return.
00:58Why is now the perfect time for that?
01:01I mean, I didn't have kids the first time around.
01:04Now I've got an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old.
01:07There was a talk of a one-night-only concert that kind of fell through,
01:11and so this is the next best thing.
01:13We get to go in for a few weeks and try it on for size again.
