00:00Today's video is different.
00:01I'm going to show you what my employee management template is like.
00:03I'm going to show you what it contains and how it works.
00:06But since I don't want to waste your time and you don't get the wrong ideas,
00:09you should know that first of all, you have to pay for the template.
00:13I'm not going to give it away for free.
00:15I'll leave the link to buy it in the video description.
00:17Second, to use this template, you need to know how to use Excel.
00:21If you don't know anything, don't buy it.
00:23Third, the template is for use on a PC.
00:25You can open it on a mobile phone, yes.
00:27You can open it on a tablet, yes.
00:29But it's made for use on a PC.
00:31Also, people who use Excel on their mobile phones seem strange to me, honestly.
00:36Fourth, you buy a template.
00:37That is, you buy the template, it arrives and you use it.
00:40It doesn't include any advice, nor am I going to customize it for you, or anything like that.
00:45It's just a template.
00:46And fifth, it's for use in Excel.
00:48Excel on your PC.
00:50In other words, don't tell me you have Google Seats or that you want to open it in Libra
00:53Office or anything like that.
00:55It's for Excel.
00:56If you want something else, just look for it, man, but this won't work for you.
00:59I don't think I've left anything out, and if not, I'll leave it in the description or
01:02in the comments.
01:03So let's take a look.
01:04What you receive is your Excel file with the employee management template, which looks like
01:08this.
01:09The first thing you have to do is enable macros.
01:12Here you'll see the security warning.
01:14By default, any file you download to your computer that has macros is disabled for security reasons,
01:19but you need to enable them for them to work.
01:21You have to click on this button.
01:23It's that easy.
01:23Why?
01:25Well, because if you write any data and click here on clear data, it tells you that the macro
01:30can't be executed.
01:32Why?
01:32Well, because you haven't enabled them.
01:35So you just have to click on enable content.
01:38This is the sheet for the year 2025, but you've created the sheets from 2025 to 2035, that is,
01:45you have 10 years of sheets.
01:47This is the data of the example workers that I have entered and all the hours are set to
01:51zero.
01:53You enter the names, the department and you can write down the hours.
01:58You write eight hours, eight hours.
02:00As you can see, they are added both at the end of the month and in the total hours worked.
02:04If this day is a vacation, you put a V, it is marked as vacation and if it is a sick leave,
02:12a B it is also marked and you can see that it is counted at the end of the month and in
02:16the total.
02:18If a worker works seven and a half hours, for example, what you have to write down is 7.5.
02:24You cannot write down 7.30 because that is 30 minutes.
02:29These are two different systems.
02:30Here you are entering the data in the decimal system and the hours data is in the sessile
02:36system.
02:38I tell you this so that you take it into account because someone once wrote to me saying that
02:42the hours did not add up and that they were writing them down incorrectly.
02:45You can see that the weekends are marked in red.
02:48This is done automatically.
02:50If I change the year here to 2024, you'll see that the weekends change.
02:55Let's leave it at 2025.
02:57And the holidays are also marked.
02:58You set these holidays in the auxiliary sheet.
03:02I've already created all the tables for you up to 2035.
03:07I've entered the national holidays of Spain from 2025 to 2035.
03:12If you're in another country, you just have to change the ones that don't match.
03:17Any day you enter here as a holiday will be marked in the calendar of the corresponding year.
03:22If I mark January 15th 2025 as a holiday here, I go to the sheet for the 25th and here I have
03:30January 15th as a holiday.
03:33It's that easy.
03:34And these lines at the top allow you to collapse the months.
03:40So, if you click here, the month of January has been collapsed.
03:45What you're seeing is the summary of the month of January and it shows you the month of February.
03:49And you can do the same with each of the months.
03:52As you finish, you can collapse it.
03:54If you want to see it at any time, click here on the plus symbol at the top and you can see all the days of that month.
04:02It's that easy.
04:05You have the option to clear data if you have enabled macros.
04:09Simply clicking on it deletes all the data from the sheet.
04:12But, as I said, I created the sheets up to 2035.
04:16So you have 10 years from 2025, with their created years, each with its start date, end date.
04:26I've left space here for 29 employees, but if you have more, just select and drag from the bottom right corner and you've just created a few more rows for more employees.
04:39That's it.
04:39If you want to keep vacations well organized, and know how many hours each person has worked, just record it in this excel sheet and you'll always have it saved.
04:51When we change the year, you change the page, start writing down all the days worked, all the vacations, and if you need to see when each worker took their vacations the previous year, you just have to go back to the page and you'll have all the information filled in here.
05:05And that's it.
05:07That's the template.
05:07It's simple but very useful, just like I like things.
05:10If you want it, you can find the link in the video description.
05:13If you don't like it, that's okay.
