00:00Tice, rapidly appearing in front of my camera from your other position.
00:05Lovely to see you. What on earth has gone on here?
00:08Did Zia Nusuf basically have a bit of a tantrum and has been calmed down by Uncle Nigel?
00:13What's gone on?
00:16What's going on is that Zia is back. He's going to be running the Doge unit.
00:21And by his own admission, Zia's been working 24-7 for 11 months.
00:25And it's a very high-pressure job. He was doing the job of about five people brilliantly.
00:30But he was just exhausted. And so, you know, delighted that he's going to crack on.
00:35He's going to, as I say, helping with the Doge unit.
00:37As we lift the lid on the bonnet of council spending and the ten councils that we control,
00:42we're already seeing huge areas of waste in competence.
00:45Sure.
00:46And sometimes I regret to say a bit of fraud here and there.
00:48And we're going to, you know, we're going to stop that.
00:50And that's what Zia is going to focus on.
00:52We'll get on to Doge in a minute.
00:54We'll get on to Doge in a minute. Hang on, Richard, sorry.
00:56Just to go back slightly. Hang on.
00:59We're going to talk about Scotland and Doge.
01:00Just on Yusuf and then we'll be done with this.
01:03You say he was doing five jobs.
01:04Now you've given him four jobs.
01:06Maybe you should just give the man a holiday and regroup.
01:09I mean, you're overworking him.
01:10Well, he's had a two-day holiday and he's back raring to go, Camilla.
01:17So, no, look, but actually the chairman is, you know, we're sort of, we're splitting up a number of different activities and a fast-growing party.
01:25It's, you know, it's very often that, sort of not surprising, that, you know, you're just pushing on at pace and you sort of, in a sense, don't realise just how demanding it is.
01:35And the pressure and the politics and I regret to say that Zia had received horrendous online abuse, which was just appalling.
01:43And, you know, this does take its toll.
01:44Where's that coming from, that online abuse?
01:47Was it in the aftermath of the Rupert Low row?
01:49Is it reform supporters that don't like Zia Yusuf for whatever reason?
01:54Who are these people abusing him?
01:55Wherever it's coming from, it's horrid, it's vile and, you know, I'm very sorry for Zia, but, you know, politics, it can be an awful game and some of that abuse is just awful and I just hope it stops.
