00:00What was I supposed to say?
00:02Ask something more familiar with your play.
00:05Say whatever you want, darling.
00:08Something will make you want to dance with me.
00:10Anything but what you just did.
00:12She didn't need to choose.
00:14She wasn't asking you anything. She was telling you.
00:16She was expressing you that she was interested.
00:18How's your champion? You got two more reps?
00:20I'm ready.
00:22Oh dear.
00:24Can I just get a second please?
00:30Is this the only one I'm dropping?
00:32Yes.
00:34We're going right up to that point.
00:38He's somebody who, I think before we come back to him,
00:44has really been trying to address the things that he wants in his life.
00:50I think he feels a little bit lonely.
00:52I think he wants to have a kind of human connection,
00:54maybe a romantic relationship.
00:56And also despite the fact that his brother sort of holds against him,
01:01that he hasn't reached out to him.
01:02I think he's been kind of keeping tabs on his brother.
01:04He's just more comfortable sort of putting his brother in that relationship
01:07in a place where he sort of knows it's there.
01:09But his, their different ways of approaching relationship
01:13have left his brother feeling like hurt and neglected and kind of ignored.
01:19As soon as you move your gun and you start to move,
01:37John's going to do this.
01:39Tap, tap, tap.
01:41Don't flag him.
01:43Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't.
01:45Okay.
01:46So the behind him is up, right?
01:48Correct.
01:49So as I'm here, it's boom, boom, boom.
01:51Bop, bop, tap, tap.
01:52Like that, right?
01:53And bop, bop, bop.
01:56Exploring brotherhood is something that is in all of Gavin's films.
02:01And he does it very well.
02:03I think that these guys grew up in an incredibly complicated way.
02:11And they, this film, although it's sort of a Trojan horse
02:16for all kinds of sort of traumatic, kids being raised in traumatic situations.
02:24B-mark.
02:32You set?
02:33Set here.
02:36You've grown soft, Braxton.
02:39What happened to the grave digger I hired nine years ago?
02:42I know.
02:43She works for us.
02:44Got to.
02:46Just want to kind of throw it out there.
02:48But, you know, you just get that, uh, Tomas to tell us where that cop guy's at.
02:52And how are you going to do that?
02:55Um, like you just pop one of his eyes out.
02:58And then if you show it to him, see, you just tell him,
03:00we're not going to say anything unless he shows the other one and the other one and the other one.
03:03I'll tell you.
03:04Okay.
03:05Great.
03:06Well, Mary Beth is definitely someone who wants to follow the letter of the law.
03:12Um, you know, again, as a very strong moral code, um, isn't a rule breaker.
03:18And Christian and Brax, um, keep sort of pushing her line of what she is comfortable doing or willing to do to get closer to solving this case.
03:31Um, you know, obviously Christian or Brax are two sides of the same coin.
03:37And they essentially in her eyes are criminals and they use criminal means to, you know, get answers, do the things that they do.
03:45So, of course, there's, you know, to say that she's uncomfortable with that would be, would be an understatement.
03:51There's no way they can zoom in on that selfie.
04:08They'll identify the woman, find likely passwords, hack into the phone and email the selfie.
04:12Yeah.
04:13Okay.
04:14Sure.
04:15Yeah.
04:16I feel like everyone is going to be really like what just happened.
04:32Uh, there are some turns and some plot twists and some things that frankly, when I was reading the script, I didn't see coming.
04:41And when I put two and two together about my character, I was like, how are they going to do that?
04:47And now I'm in it and I'm like, Oh, I think we're going to pull it off.
04:50Um, so, uh, I feel like aside from being entertaining and being fun and having killer action, um, it's a really, really good plot twisty movie.
05:01And then up into the, just like an inch up and then an inch to the left.
05:07Okay.
05:08Or maybe two inches to the left.
05:09Gotcha.
05:10Gotcha.
05:11Okay.
05:12Action.
05:21I mean, this is bad.
05:22I need Bronte to go to the gym.
05:24Justine.
05:25I have been exposed to so much technology and people who, um, speak computer language where since I've been mute or non-speaking from childhood, I've, um, created voice for myself through the computers.
05:48While Chris has, was trained as an assassin and, um, he's been out in the so-called real world.
05:55So I help him undercover.
05:58I'm his informant.
06:00I, uh, get all the details.
06:03Um, the real world details compiled for him through the computer versus he's so good with numbers.
06:11And adding all that up, um, where I'm, I'm the dad, I'm the social aspect of gaining all that information for him.
06:18Action!
06:19One, two, three, four, five!
06:33Okay.
06:34Nice.
06:35And that's it.
06:36And cut there.
06:37I've heard her saw.
06:38Action.
06:39Nice.
06:40And that's it.
06:41And cut there.
06:42I've heard her saw.
06:43Action.
06:44I was really encouraging them to take ownership of their characters.
07:03And they did.
07:05So once they really understood these characters and how to relate to each other and what, what
07:11what we were going for and trying to attack every scene, they, I would get, you know,
07:16I would, we would shoot it where we did the lines and then I would start encouraging them
07:21to improvise.
07:22And they're both really good at improvisation.
07:26So there's a lot in the movie that was unscripted.
07:30There's a lot in the movie that they improvised.
07:32I mean, the, the scene with Ben and the dating scene, mostly all of his answers are improvised.
07:39Seriously.
07:40Now he did the scripted answers, but I kept the improvise.
07:43I was just, just improvise.
07:44Just improvise.
07:45Just, you know, Chris, you know, Chris, just answer as Chris.
07:48And he, so there was a lot of that in the film.
07:51The head butt landed great.
07:52I mean, him coming out, all those beats, the punch, the kick.
07:55Perfect.
07:56Perfecto.
07:57All right.
08:04Ram.
08:09I really credit John.
08:22He's fabulous.
08:23I love the guy.
08:24I love being around him.
08:25He's wonderful.
08:26I knew him somewhat and already really liked him and kind of came away loving him and loving
08:30every minute.
08:31And he's so talented and so smart and so invests himself.
08:36It was like a, it was a joy to work with him every day.
08:37And I remember the shooting that.
08:38And I remember just, we fell into a very natural rhythm that we seem able to just fall into.
08:43Honestly, the guy's just great.
08:44I'm able to like respond and connect to him.
08:45I also think that because I find him that he's great.
08:46He's great.
08:47He's great.
08:48He's great.
08:49He's great.
08:50He's great.
08:51He's great.
08:52He's great.
08:53He's great.
08:54He's great.
08:55He's great.
08:56He's great.
08:57He's great.
08:58He's great.
08:59He's great.
09:00He's great.
09:01He's great.
09:02He's great.
09:03He's great.
09:04I'm able to like respond and connect to him.
09:06I also think that because I find him so appealing and engaging and interesting and warm and cool
09:09and smart and funny, you see that.
09:11Frank, Chris, go, go.
09:24You can go.
09:25Yeah.
09:26All right.
09:27So we'll anyway, so this is, and then come down and then Frank.
09:39And your secondary is loaded so you can come up.
09:41Cool.
09:42Yeah.
09:43Perfect.
09:44All right.
09:45And then.
09:46That's what I was told about.
09:47I was going to start first.
09:48All right.
09:49So shuttle that.
09:50Looking this way.
09:51I'm going to go.
09:52looking this way.
09:54It's great to be with Ben.
09:56I mean, it's just great.
09:57And yeah, I think we were able to bond on this one.
10:02You know, last time we didn't spend that much time
10:04with each other, but we really did on this.
10:06And we really got close.
10:08And he and I just had sort of an ease and a rapport
10:12right from the jump, both on screen and off.
10:14And I'm really grateful for it.
10:15I admire him so much.
10:17And the thing about Ben is he's not only this sort of icon
10:21and this brilliant actor.
10:22He's an enormously, enormously intelligent, vulnerable,
10:26sensitive, kind person.
10:28And you know, look, he's the guy here.
10:32He's the big boss, too.
10:34And he's a brilliant filmmaker.
10:36The guy you want is Burke.
10:37Listen to me.
10:38Not me.
10:39The guy you want is Burke.
10:41Not me, man.
10:41What are you saying?
10:46Where is it when I go right?
10:48Are they here?
10:49Yeah.
10:50Yeah.
10:50I can't say enough good things about Gavin and the way he sort of helms and steers this
11:20ship of a film.
11:23You know, I think what everybody brings to it in terms of their work and their dedication
11:29and their skills, it starts at the top and it starts with him.
11:33And I think that, you know, he has such a clear vision for what this story is and how
11:40this story unfolds that I trust him so completely because I just know how thoroughly he has examined
11:50every detail, every plot point inside and out.
11:54I'm a federal agent.
11:55I'm a federal agent.
11:56Big mistake.
11:57Well, only if you're not married with me, you know.
12:01No, but you know, he's done well.
12:03He's done well and you get that down there.
12:07When that comes out, then it's like…
12:14No, but it's like, you know, you know you've done well, and you get that, and that comes
12:23out, then it's like, and you're hitting.
12:26Well, how are you going to do that?
12:31Well, one way, you pluck out one of his eyes, right?
12:34You show it to him, and you just tell him you're going to take the other one out if
12:37he doesn't start talking.
12:38Kind of works every time, like 10 out of 10.
12:40I mean, nobody wants to be blind, right?
12:42Yeah, that means you're serious, you know?
12:44You know, this sounds like a line, but it's not.
12:47It really is a testament to the movie.
12:49There really is something in it for everybody.
12:53This movie is, aside from the fact that it has killer action and killer sequences that
12:58have had a lot of love and time and thought.
13:02And again, these producers and Gavin, they care so deeply about this movie.
13:07So there's a lot of love that went into it.
13:09So aside from the action stuff, it's also really funny.
13:12I think this movie is, you know, there's some really funny moments in that first one.
13:17This second one might outdo it in that sense.
13:20So there's comedy.
13:22You have a weird Latina savant who's a murderer.
13:26I've never seen that before.
13:27I feel like there's a lot of Latinos who are probably going to kick out of that character.
13:30So there's just, there's a lot of just different little magical things about this movie that really encompasses a wide audience.
13:40This feels like a big movie.
13:42It's not niche.
13:43It's something for everybody.
13:45And it's like a big popcorn movie.
13:46It's, um, this is definitely the kind of movie that would get me to run to the theater.
13:52So, I mean, if you like that, then...
14:07I mean, this worked great.
14:09So should we just do that?
14:10If we can get the right overlap, that's great.
14:12Do another one.
14:13What do you think?
14:14I love it.
14:15I love it.
14:16I love it.
14:17I mean, it's...
14:18Boom.
14:19Boom.
14:20Boom.
14:21Boom.
14:22Boom.
14:23Nice.
14:24Boom.
14:27The one man to terminate for free minus one very inconvenient factor.
14:34Cause I can, I can do it.
14:35But if you want to see...
14:37Right.
14:38Yeah.
14:39Yeah.
14:40I can do it.
14:41How are you doing?
14:42She's great.
