01:06Merci.
01:07Congratulations.
01:09You said, I think, yesterday, we were chatting about how you worked on your mental mindset, etc.
01:15How critical was that after dropping the first set today?
01:20It was very important, probably, because, I mean, I came on court, I was nervous, of course, it's a big stage.
01:27The court felt bigger also, so it's like, oof, it's something else than what we played before, so it's like at the back of the returns, you feel it.
01:35And then I lose the first set pretty close, but also with some nervous decisions that came out of nowhere, some not smart returns, some tightness on some shots.
01:45But, I mean, at the end, I lost it, and being there mentally, I had to stay in it.
01:49Of course, I'm going to leave my heart out there on that match.
01:51And then I just told myself, all right, now we go for more, now we put even more energy now, now we hit the balls more, now, and then it ended up working out really well.
02:00I felt much powerful in the second and third set.
02:03I was feeling myself more, I was moving my legs better, and then I'm just, it all came kind of into a mode of telling myself from the start of the second set, all right, I can win this.
02:13I want to win this, so I post everything I could for that.
02:18You said some lovely words on court about you, coach.
02:22Can you elaborate his name firstly, but also what it is that he used to become a father, what your partnership together, and what it means for the future?
02:32Yeah, he's right there.
02:34His name is Gianluca Macchiori.
02:36We are working together since around eight, nine months, maybe.
02:40And I'm really grateful to have him by my side.
02:44He's an awesome coach, and I'm ready for the future with him, to take the big steps.
02:50And no, if anyone was asking, I'm not stopping with him.
02:53It's just he's taking a little break.
02:56I'll still, when I'm in Stockholm, because he lives there and trains there with me, we still work at the academy just to travel and stuff.
03:03So yeah, he's becoming a father now, and I wish him best of luck for that, of course.
03:07And yeah, so we'll take some months off for him to have some time with his family, and then we go back on tour whenever he feels ready for it.
03:16I read in German press a quote from Philipp Pechner about the two of you making it through to the final and how proud he was,
03:24but that you'd already also said that you could do whatever you wanted to do with his hair.
03:29There was some sort of little bet.
03:31You're going to hold him to that.
03:32What are you going to do in that regard?
03:34It actually happened already yesterday.
03:37We went, it was the bet, start of the tournament.
03:41If one of us Germans wins the tournament, then yeah, we do a haircut of his choice.
03:48And I mean, since both of us were in the finals, then one of us is going to win.
03:53And yeah, so we went to the barbershop yesterday at 6.30.
03:57We booked an appointment for him, and first we wanted to do like an avatar haircut, just like an arrow on his head.
04:02But then we were watching it live, we were dying of laughter.
04:06But then we ended up feeling so bad, we just said, all right, shave everything off.
04:10And just for everyone to know, I have one more bet with my coach.
04:15Because Philip and them said if a German wins, but he said if I win, which I ended up doing,
04:19so I'm allowed to put some colour into his hair now also.
04:23So, yeah.
04:25Any colour of choice?
04:27Any colour of choice except orange, because he doesn't like it.
04:30And you talked about your Scottish, I suppose, heritage as well through the week,
04:36and you said you had some great support there.
04:38Was that your dad in the stand that you hugged afterwards?
04:42Yeah, that was my stepdad, who we live with in Germany.
04:46My dad was probably watching from home, but that was my stepdad.
04:51And he has been part of my tennis career since I started with it.
04:56He's always been there for me, and I'm super grateful to have him by my side.
04:59He takes critical decisions, but at the end, he's always there for me, he always supports me.
05:05If one of the things are, we're not agreeing, he just wants the best at the end,
05:09which I'm super grateful for.
05:11And, yeah, he was here the whole week supporting me,
05:13which I was super happy and grateful for, with my brother by his side.
05:16And, yeah, it was absolutely awesome to have those two here.
