00:00You are not weak if you need to take a break. There's this idea that we have to push through
00:04things, push through the pain, push through the hard times. But sometimes when we do that,
00:09we end up causing ourselves a lot of emotional pain. The most powerful thing that you can do
00:14is to simply let go. Let go of the resentment, let go of the anger, let go of the frustration.
00:19When you start to let go, you'll find that your body starts to relax, your emotions start to calm
00:25down, and you feel a sense of peace, and then you can start to heal. You can start to move forward.
00:30This applies to forgiving yourself and forgiving others. When you hold on to grudges, when you hold
00:35on to resentment, it's like you're carrying around a backpack full of bricks. It's heavy,
00:40it drags you down, it makes you feel bad, it makes you feel tired. What happens when you forgive?
00:46When you let go of that backpack, all of a sudden, you're lighter, you're happier,
00:50you're more at peace. You've got this newfound freedom, and that's the power of forgiveness.
