Live from Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2025, Techland debuted the first gameplay trailer for Dying Light: The Beast and announced its official launch date. Releasing on August 22, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Dying Light: The Beast is the culmination of a decade of the team's experience in survival horror games, taking everything players loved about the franchise and bringing it to the next level.

You are Kyle Crane. After being captured by the Baron and enduring his painful experiments for years, you escape. Left on the edge of humanity with both human and zombie DNA, you struggle to control your inner beast and the conflict that comes with it. But you’ll need to, if you want to get your revenge on the man who did this to you.

A unique blend of open world and action survival horror, Dying Light: The Beast is set in the beautiful, yet dangerous valley of Castor Woods that’s now overrun with zombies rather than tourists. To take your former captor down, you’ll need to form fragile alliances, as well as utilize all the combat and traversal options in your arsenal.
