00:22I always loved, like, old music, old sounds. I didn't have much context for it, but I always heard it in movies.
00:27And, like, the way I told my friends about my music and, like, my musical aspirations was kind of always through the lens of music.
00:34It's like, you listen to the music from, like, the old Peter Pan movies, like, the old Disney Princess movies.
00:41That kind of vintage sound is everything that I strive for in my modern project.
00:47So, it means a lot to me.
00:49I love that you can connect all the lines there.

00:51I mean, you're going to be taking the music out on the road with Suki Waterhouse.

00:54We're so excited about that. So, how did you decide to partner with her?

01:07But, you know, I went to a concert at the Greek here a couple months ago.
01:11And I was just really taken by her musicality.
01:14She had so many fun...
01:15Like, her band was made up of, like, fun musicians.
01:18And also, like, the costumes and the dancing and everything.
01:21Like, it was just a very captivating show.
01:24And I thought, that's exactly the kind of energy I want to have on the road.
01:27Oh, I can't wait to see it.
01:28And, I mean, you've been putting songs out.
01:30But the full project isn't coming out until August, right?

01:33So, what can you tease people about what else they can expect from your new album?

02:02Like, I wanted, I think I've always had a focus on elegance and beauty.
02:07And I think with this project, I had a focus on being a little weird, a little surreal and wonky.
