00:00Not too far is the day when you'll have life being produced in factories.
00:04You'll have raw material coming in and living things coming out.
00:07All that is possible.
00:08You do not require some god to give life.
00:11Life can be provided even by science.
00:13Consciousness is material.
00:15It can be created.
00:16You see, what is it that you call as life?
00:18When the male cell meets the female cell in the womb,
00:21it takes a few months before you can ascribe life to the fetus.
00:26The Hindu books say it is in the seventh month that the lump of flesh attains the ego agency.
00:33Before the seventh month, there is the thing, but the thing has no self.
00:37So the self arises from the body.
00:39And the self appears when the body attains a certain configuration, a certain maturity.
00:44When that configuration is gone, the self is gone.
00:47And advances in science and technology will enable material life to be extended beyond imagination.
