GB News's West Midlands Reporter Jack Carson has summarised the shocking manslaughter of Bhim Kohli, an 80-year-old who was attacked while walking his dog in Leicestershire.He died the next day from his injuries which were caused by an attack by a then 14-year-old boy, now 15, who was been handed a seven-year custodial sentence.The attack was also filmed by a then 12-year-old girl, now 13, who swerved a custodial sentence and was instead put on a three-year rehabilitation programme.She will also serve a six-month curfew.

00:00It's 6.18pm on the 1st of September and Bim Coley takes his dog Rocky for an evening walk.
00:06He would never return home.
00:08The 80-year-old dad, grandad, brother and uncle would be killed by two teenagers after
00:13they physically and racially attacked him.
00:15Just minutes after Mr Coley is seen on doorbell footage walking into this park, five teenagers
00:20arrive.
00:21Moments later a 15-year-old boy from the group approaches the elderly dog walker, accusing
00:26him of previously hitting another teenager with a stick.
00:29This has never been proven.
00:30As the confrontation gets more aggressive, three of the teenagers run away, leaving a girl
00:35with the male defendants.
00:36At 6.25pm, the 15-year-old boy puts on a balaclava he was carrying in his pocket and begins a tirade
00:43of physical abuse.
00:44The teenagers leave Bim Coley on the floor and are filmed fleeing the scene.
00:48Mr Coley suffered fractures to three of his ribs and a neck injury that caused trauma to
00:52his spinal cord.
00:54He died 24 hours later.

01:00That boy always intended to cause really serious harm.
01:05We know that the assault, there was multiple assaults, three that we know of.
01:09There was a sustained attack on Mr Coley, a totally unprovoked attack.
01:15The proliferation in the use of phones and social media messages features more and more in inquiries
01:22and certainly with young people who now live their lives via phones.
01:27This girl was obsessed with violence.
01:30She filmed violence.
01:31He encouraged violence and because of her actions and the actions of the boy defendant, violence
01:38unfolded and Mr Coley lost his life.
01:40The six-week trial of the teenagers heard how parts of the attack were filmed by the
01:4513-year-old girl on her phone, including footage of the boy slapping Coley round the
01:49face with his shoe after he collapsed onto his knees.
01:52In a letter read out to jurors, the boy said, I did it and I accept I'm doing time.
01:57I kind of just needed anger releasing.
01:59He claimed he acted out of instinct.
02:01Both teenagers were found guilty of manslaughter.
02:03Speaking after the verdict, Bim Coley's family said they feel lost without him.
02:08Absolutely heartbreaking to see him in pain like that when he's never complained about
02:15being in pain.
02:16He was the one that held us all together.
02:19He was.
02:20And now it's, that's gone now.
02:24It's not, it's not holding us all together.
02:28Today they still grieve the loss of a man devoted to them all.
