00:00She was the youngest victim of the Bengaluru Stampede.

00:03Just sitting quietly on the footpath, hoping to catch a glimpse of Virat Kohli.

00:07And she was crazy about him, so this was the best memory which I can give her.

00:12Devyanshi was just 13, a swimming champion, a cricket fan, and a girl who wanted to be

00:18a pilot.

00:19Her mother told us that she hadn't even entered the stadium.

00:22On 4th June, a stampede outside Chinnaswamy Stadium killed 11 people.

00:26All of them were under 40, three were teenagers.

00:29Manoj was another student who never made it home.

00:32His father, a Paani Puri vendor in Kunigal, had taken loans to send him to a good college.

00:42Prajwal from Chintamani had told his family he was going for a job interview.

00:46Instead, he went to the stadium to celebrate RCB's win.

00:49They only found out the truth when his name appeared in the list of the dead.

00:52Bhumik, 19, a first-year engineering student, came with friends but got separated in the

00:57chaos.

00:58He collapsed in the crowd and was rushed to the hospital in a police jeep, but didn't

01:03survive.

01:04His mother had warned him not to go.

01:05Now, she says, even if she shouts his name, he won't come back.

01:09Sahana, a software developer at Bosch, had taken leave to attend the celebrations.

01:14Caught in the surge, she fell and was trampled.

01:16Her family kept searching until her friends reached Vaidehi Hospital and were told she was

01:21brought dead.

01:22Purnachanda, a civil engineer from Mandya, was among those killed.

01:26So were Shravan, Chinmai, Akshata, Shivalanga, Doresha and Devi.

01:30Doctors at Vaidehi Hospital said most of the victims were in their twenties.

01:35Many had died of suffocation, crushed in a celebration that spiraled into chaos.

01:39Eyewitnesses said the crowd was suddenly asked to download an app to get free entry passes.

01:44There was no prior notice.

01:46Mobile networks failed, people couldn't access the app and panic began to spread.

01:50No one had imagined RCB's dream run would end in 11 funerals.
