00:40What a nice group. Look at them all coming back now.

00:49We had an administration that fell a lot and we don't want to have that.
00:53We don't want to have any of that.
00:55Well, I'm delighted to welcome to the White House
00:58the thousands of proud American patriots.
01:02And that's what you are. You're patriots.
01:03You know, we've never done this before. You know that, right?
01:06This is a fight. They didn't do it.
01:10The previous administration wouldn't have thought of doing it.
01:13But we think we're going to do it for four more years.
01:17I don't know, maybe eight more years. I don't know.
01:22But we love you all. You're really amazing, successful people all.
01:25And you just gave your heart and your soul.
01:28And we won every swing state. We won the popular vote by millions.
01:32We won everything you can win.
01:34And now we have we have a successful country.
01:38Doesn't it feel different?
01:40Different. So different.
01:42So many people say, go away.
01:43And all over the world, they say it feels different.
01:46The whole world feels different. So it's an honor.
01:49It's a great honor. Believe me, and we should all be happy about it
01:52because we're bringing it back like nobody would have thought possible.
01:55The event has I and I just tell you was really the brainchild of a few of the people
02:00that happen to be in the audience.
02:02I won't bother to embarrass them by introducing them.
02:05They don't need that. But they just had this idea.
02:08And I loved it immediately upon hearing it.
02:11But this is the largest crowd so far that we can imagine
02:15to be on this lawn in many, many years.
02:17There's a big crowd. There's a lot of people.
02:19And this is all a group of people that love what we're doing.
02:22They love MAGA, Make America Great Again.
02:24And that's what we're doing.
02:29So I want to thank you all and very particularly have some good food there.
02:33I know a certain place serves our food and I think you're liking it.
02:38I like it. But I think you're liking it a lot.
02:40I want to express my gratitude to just about all of my members
02:45in the cabinet who are here. They are here in in great numbers.
02:49I didn't know what they were saying.
02:51They said, I'll see you tonight. I'll see you tonight.
02:53And I've been so busy between Iran, Russia, China
02:57and every other problem that we were left
02:59that I'm saying, what the hell is happening tonight?
03:02And then I said, I'm seeing a lot of thousands of my friends tonight.
03:07But I want to thank the members of the cabinet in particular.
03:10They've been unbelievable. We have a great cabinet.
03:12You see the results every single day.
03:17Let me also give a big round of applause
03:19and welcome to our new White House interns.
03:23This is the very first day on their job.
03:26Really great.

03:38Look at him. Oh, is that? Wow.
03:40Good. You ever hear of the great Jack Nicklaus?

03:47I immediately said, get him on board because he's got great genes.
03:51You can't get better than that.
03:53And, you know, especially so your grandmother.
03:55OK, Barbara, who's fantastic.
03:57So good luck. You're going to do very well.

04:03I wish I could play golf like Jack Nicklaus.
04:05It just didn't work out that way.
04:07But six months ago, we had a nation that was as cold as ice.
04:11It was cold.
04:12The whole world was laughing at us.
04:15And they're not laughing anymore.
04:16That I can tell you now because of the people here tonight.
04:20We have the hottest, most talked about country anywhere in the world.
04:27I went to the Middle East.
04:28We went to Qatar, Saudi Arabia.
04:30We went to UAE.
04:32We went to three stops.
04:34We brought back five point one trillion dollars.
04:37Think of that.
04:38Five point one.
04:39They ordered massive amounts of military equipment, regular equipment,
04:43200 Boeing aircraft.
04:45And we got one for free for the nation.
04:47You've been hearing that.
04:50The United States Air Force got one for free and say,
04:53I'd like one because we need it as Air Force one until the other ones are done.
04:58And they said we would be pleased to give you.
05:00So they gave us a Boeing 747 for the United States Air Force.
05:05And every it's just incredible.
05:07The press picked it up and they said he got a plane.
05:10I didn't get a plane.
05:11They got a plane.
05:13But that's the way it is.
05:14You're going to get to know as you deal with the fake news
05:16and then eventually you'll get to love them.
05:19Maybe I doubt it.
05:20Actually, I doubt it.
05:21But I want to just tell you some of the numbers that just came out.
05:27Rasmussen, a majority of Americans now believe
05:30our country is on the right track for the first time in 28 years.
05:36Think of that first time in 28 years.
05:40That's something.
05:41And think of the achievement.
05:44And we did that in four months.
05:45You know, we haven't been here long, four months.
05:47And we're going to do a lot better than that.
05:49But who would think that for 28 years they thought we were on the wrong track?
05:53Because I know one thing.
05:55That four years ago, during our term, we were on the right track.
05:58We were doing a great job.
06:00And we had one of the most successful.
06:02That was one of the most successful terms ever.
06:05Then we had a little problem where they rigged an election.
06:08And then we came back.
06:09And this is bigger, better, stronger than ever before.
06:13This one is far bigger than it would have been.
06:15This is really something what's happened.
06:17We've created over half a million new jobs in a short period of time.
06:21Secured nearly $15 trillion.
06:25New dollars, new investments that are going into our country.
06:29And if you noticed, the inflation report came out this morning.
06:32We're at about 2 percent inflation.
06:34Can you believe it?
06:37And very importantly, because the people were devastated, the last administration,
06:42in my opinion, the most unsuccessful administration may be in the history of our country.
06:49Grocery prices went through the roof.
06:51Well, grocery prices now are down.
06:53You remember they were talking about eggs.
06:55My first week in office, the press was screaming about eggs.
06:59Eggs have gone up 287 percent.
07:03I said, I'm sorry, I just got here.
07:05And the eggs went up.
07:07Now the eggs are down at the same price they were.
07:09We got them all the way down.
07:11And we had three weeks ago for Easter, we had an egg hunt, an egg roll, they called it.
07:17And they said, sir, could you order a couple of months ago?
07:19Could you order plastic eggs?
07:21I said, we're not ordering plastic eggs.
07:23And by the time we had the event, eggs were all the way down.
07:27But think of it.
07:28Grocery prices are down.
07:29Gasoline prices are down.
07:31And it were down just in time.
07:34One dollar.
07:35We had numerous states.
07:36One dollar and 98 cents a gallon just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
07:43How about that?
07:43Good timing.
07:44You know, this all enures to you because you're all with us.
07:48This is a family.
07:49This is really a family.
07:51So when I do good, you do good.
07:53When we when we do good, we do good together.
07:57That's the way I want it.
07:57Incomes are soaring.
07:59And in April, we achieved the largest drop in consumer prices, the largest increase in consumer
08:06confidence.
08:06Both of them in many, many years.
08:09In one case, we've never had such a drop.
08:12It's never been like this.
08:13We've never had this kind of success.
08:15I just hope it keeps going.
08:17You know, you do need a little luck, too.
08:19You know that.
08:20And sometimes you need a little prayer.
08:22Maybe all the time.
08:23We need a little bit of a prayer, but we're going to keep it going in a single month.
08:29We also cut the trade deficit in half by 50 percent.
08:32Do you believe that one?
08:34You don't hear that too much on the news.
08:36They don't like to tell you those things.
08:38In a matter of weeks, we slashed a number of illegal border crossings released into the
08:42United States down to practically nothing.
08:46Three people got in three.
08:48We had hundreds of thousands, and three people equates to 99.999 percent.
08:57How's that?
08:58Good?
08:59I couldn't reach 100 percent.
09:00I'm sorry.
09:01And of the three people, I have to tell you, two of them were in medical emergencies, okay?
09:07So I'm going to say one person got in.
09:10That was a piece of work, I guess.
09:12I'd like to meet that guy.
09:13I'd like to meet the guy that got in.
09:16Peacetime enlistment numbers.
09:18This is something we're all really proud of.
09:20It's a big deal.
09:22Peacetime enlistment numbers for every branch of our military, every single branch, are at
09:26the highest levels in modern history.
09:29And seven months ago, and seven months ago, we had the worst, think of this.
09:37This is done in six or seven months.
09:40Seven months ago, we had the worst numbers in recorded history.
09:44Nobody wanted to join the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard.
09:49Nobody wanted.
09:50Or our police.
09:52Our police are likewise.
09:53Through the roof, six, seven months ago, they couldn't fill a position.
09:58You couldn't fill it in the military.
09:59It's hot as a pistol.
10:01We have the best numbers.
10:02Think of that.
10:03The best numbers in a short period of time in modern history.
10:07And that's something I'm very proud of.
10:11And that's because the people of our country, you love our country.
10:15You were devastated to see what was happening.
10:17And now you're thrilled to see what's happening because we have a hot one and we love it.
10:22We've achieved more in four months than most administrations have achieved in four years
10:26or eight years.
10:27And none of this would have been possible without you.
10:30You're the ones that are really doing it.
10:32You're the ones that are making it happen.
10:34You really are.
10:37And someday, one of you, maybe two of you or three of you, will be standing right here
10:42saying very similar words.
10:44I hope you're saying similar words.
10:46But that's a real possibility because there really is this greatness in this crowd.
10:52There's greatness.
10:53You might not even know that, but there's greatness in this crowd.
10:56The caliber of talent we've assembled is unparalleled.
10:59This is really the strongest, most talented team that we've had and I think that this government
11:05has had in a long time and maybe ever.
11:07I really think this could be the best team.
11:09We worked hard on it and just in just 135 days, we've hired over 3,200 patriots to deliver
11:19on the mandate that we received in November.
11:22November 5th, we want to go down as one of the most important days in the history of our
11:28country.
11:29That's Election Day.
11:30We're going to make it the most important day.
11:32And as of tonight, we filled 91 percent of our political appointments.
11:38And I'll tell you, we have a waiting list likewise.
11:41We have a big waiting list of people that want to come over, work here with you, work in the
11:44White House.
11:46Every single department, every single agency has a waiting list of people that want to come
11:51and be with us.
11:52The Department of Veteran Affairs has achieved already 100 percent staffing, all with people
11:59that we want, really great people.
12:03The Department of Defense, Commerce and Treasury is over 90 percent of the political hires.
12:08They're complete.
12:09It's a record at this time so early.
12:12And the departments of Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, Labor are all over and
12:18up to about 95 percent already.
12:21So I want to thank the great chief of staff, most powerful woman anywhere in the world,
12:29they say.
12:30She got the most powerful woman in the world.
12:33One phone call and a group of people, I better not say it.
12:37I was going to say one phone call in the country is wiped out, but we're not going to say that
12:42because we're a peace loving nation.
12:44We are a peace loving nation.

12:48There she is.
12:51Now she's great.
12:52And Sergio, thank you for the great job that you did.

13:00They have done a really amazing job.
13:02Susie, I'll tell you what.
13:04She's the first woman chief of staff in the history of our country.
13:08And I'm surprised to hear that.
13:11And I watch those men and she watches over them.
13:15And if they get a little bit out of line, they may be big, big shots defense.
13:20They may be at commerce.
13:21They may be the biggest.
13:23They're scared of her.
13:25They're afraid of her.
13:27They don't want her coming after them.
13:29But no, she's been incredible.
13:31First woman chief of staff in the history of our country.
13:34Isn't that great?
13:35I'm surprised to hear that actually, but that's the way it is.
13:37But most importantly, let me thank all of the appointees for your tireless efforts to deliver our promises
13:44and to put very simply, it's very simple words to words, America first.
13:49It's all about putting America first.
13:51And by the way, we're going to help other countries, but first we have to straighten out our country.
13:56Don't you think so?
13:57And it's not going to take too long.
13:59A very special thanks as well to your spouses and children and families and loved ones for the support that you've given us.
14:07And we're saving our country.
14:09This would have been a country.
14:10We were a country in shambles.
14:12And now we're a country that is just in love with itself and love with its people.
14:18And everybody's talking about it.
14:20And it's such an honor to be involved with you.
14:23And without you, it wouldn't be happening because together we've begun the golden age of America.
14:29This is now the golden age of America.
14:31It's a beautiful term and a beautiful country.
14:33And we're going to make our nation safer and stronger and prouder, richer, freer and greater than ever before.
14:41And I can give you my word.
14:43I'm going to work so hard.
14:44We're going to work.
14:45We're going to work harder than any presidents ever work.
14:48We have to because we got off to a little rough start.
14:50They gave us a very bad hand and we've taken that bad hand and we've turned it into the best hand you can get.
14:58And you're the reasons why.
