00:00Last year on the 6th of April 2024, the Northern Illawarra units responded to a flood rescue

00:04on Darks Road, West Abdo. Upon attending the incident, we located two persons stuck in a

00:10tree not too far from the vehicles they had fled from. To access the individuals, we had to

00:16navigate fast-flowing water across a couple fields using our Archangel, which is an inflatable rescue

00:21boat. Upon retrieving the two people from the tree, we then navigated across to the far western end

00:27of Darks Road, where they are met by paramedics and police rescue. That was one of the many rescues

00:33on the 6th of April 2024.
