00:23know how to pronounce the guy's name and what he would actually do he was pretty good yesterday

00:27five innings pitched two earned runs gave up a home run but only two earned runs there you'll take

00:32that through five innings to keep yourself in the ball game for the san francisco giants i tell you

00:36this guy ralph has been really good on the season so far frustrating batters six and a third innings

00:41pitched four hits no earned runs five strikeouts his era now sits at 3.18 which is good runners in

00:48scoring position for the team that lost the game yeah you can usually read by that one of six you're

00:54got to do better by that but if you take a look here at the padres they did win the game three to

00:58two but how about this runners in scoring position for the padres yesterday two of 12 and left 13

01:04runners on base so i'm pretty sure their team total was at least a three and a half yesterday

01:09that's a frustrating loss there if you had that but the padres pick up the victory to tease one of

01:14three in that lineup how about manny machado by the way now hitting 315 on the season four for four

01:18yesterday with two rbi chrono where chips in with a base knock and also an rbi as they pick up that

01:23win in the west coast here 33 and 28 now for the san francisco giants the padres now sit at 35 and 24

01:31so when we're trying to make heads or tails of the nl west it's going to be a dog fight all season long

01:37just looking at the absolute standings yes it's going to be the dodgers here in first place but

01:42they're not running away with that division here it's really competitive the san diego padres which

01:46picked up that victory yesterday and now sit winners of three games in a row and seven of their last

01:5110 35 and 24 they sit a game back the san francisco giants were really a surprise to me this season

01:57playing good baseball five games above 500 and still within striking distance of that division

02:02now understand this do i think the san francisco giants are better than the padres no i don't do i

02:07think the san francisco giants are better than los angeles dodgers i don't but there's a team behind

02:11them right now and the arizona diamondbacks they're three and seven in their last 10 games have lost their

02:16past two games here they got to wake up there is way too much talent in that arizona diamondbacks

02:21roster to be two games under 500 but it just shows you how tough that conference excuse me that division

02:27is out on the west coast because the dodgers at 37 and 24 most people hey why aren't they 50 and 10

02:32at this point which is how much talent they stacked up in the all season we know baseball doesn't work

02:36like that and even the worst teams which in their division right now the colorado rockies

02:40they actually just won their first series which is absolutely incredible so the wet that well then

02:47west top to bottom not very good because the rockies are in it but you want to talk about the

02:52diamondbacks giants the padres and the dodgers they're going to beat up on each other all summer

02:56long the winner of this division certainly is going to get an award for that and a well-deserved

03:00home field advantage in the playoffs if you can get the top seed then yes you're going to be sitting
