00:00Previously on The Valley.
00:06Going on a trip.
00:07Hey!
00:08What's up, guys?
00:09What's up, brother?
00:15I took it off.
00:16I really hate straight people sometimes.
00:18You're a disaster.
00:20And you're a haker, so...
00:21I'm the mother of your child!
00:27He's very sweet-deprived.
00:29We know dark side Danny.
00:31Halloween last year,
00:32we were all at Jax's bar,
00:34and Danny definitely had a little too much to drink.
00:36He grabbed my thigh
00:38and grabbed Melissa's ass, too.
00:41I can't do so much.
00:43My husband, we have,
00:44and, like, my own friends, like, had to, like...
00:46Like, I can't even act like their husband's drunk
00:48for one night.
00:49So you have to attack me
00:50because you're going through something.
00:52Michelle and I are the most sane people
00:54in this whole house right now.
00:56Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
00:58Hold on.
00:59What do you need me to do?
01:00Hold on.
01:01Think about the times you have protected Jax
01:03when you shouldn't have.
01:04It's not that, Zach.
01:05I'm not protecting anybody.
01:06Hold on.
01:07What Bridie said is that her life has been on display.
01:09I agree.
01:10Always on a max every thing,
01:12and the one time she's just questioning
01:14one little thing about somebody else's thing,
01:16it's like, oh, can't talk about it.
01:18It gets shut down.
01:20She's looking bad.
01:21I'm showing my entire life.
01:24What is happening?
01:25Why are my friends speaking about me behind my back?
01:28This doesn't feel like true friendship right now.
01:31Like, real friends don't do this.
01:33Tonight, when you were asked about Daniel,
01:35you were like, he's sleeping.
01:36He's sick in the app.
01:37Yeah, because he is exhausted,
01:38and yes, he was drunk.
01:39No, you didn't say drunk.
01:40You said he's sick in the app.
01:41No, I didn't say that.
01:42You're right.
01:43Nia, should we get Danny or what?
01:44He will not get out of bed.
01:45He's exhausted.
01:47He's very sleep-deprived.
01:49He needs to catch up.
01:50Be more honest.
01:51Like, can someone not be both?
01:53Can two things not be true?
01:54I think the reason I'm so worked up
01:56and I'm, like, a part of me can't let it go
01:58is just because, you know,
01:59I've dealt with dark side Danny before.
02:01So, Brittany, did you never have moments
02:03where you said, oh, Jax is whatever?
02:05Of course.
02:06It's not just, like, the action.
02:07It's the disappointment
02:08and the disrespect from a friend.
02:10Those feelings just don't go away overnight.
02:12Nia, you gotta acknowledge what's going on here,
02:14you know?
02:15You can't just, like, put your hand in the sand
02:16and, like, oh, nothing's happening.
02:18Oh, Daniel's awake.
02:19I know.
02:20It's like, Daniel's sleeping, whatever.
02:21Awesome.
02:22I'm just saying, that's what it felt.
02:23And I'm having Brittany's back
02:24because everybody doesn't want to have her back
02:25in this moment.
02:26It's like...
02:27We do have Brittany's back.
02:28No, wait, hold on.
02:29You just felt like it sucked to have her pain.
02:31You don't need to be in here.
02:32No, no, no, no, Daniel.
02:34Oh, my God.
02:35Wait.
02:36She's just saying it's not fair
02:37that she puts her laugh at every
02:39little dot to the toe.
02:41And, like, other people don't do it.
02:43Don't do it.
02:46What is going on here?
02:48So we can talk about it and explain it.
02:50Just don't hide, like, your actual things
02:51that are going on.
02:52Exactly.
02:53It's all in my room.
02:54Okay, Daniel, we can have a conversation
02:55and explain everything.
02:56Is this pointing to me?
02:57Yes, to you and me.
02:58Just...
02:59We can have a whole conversation
03:00in the kitchen or whatever.
03:02Just, like, it's a lot of energy going on in here.
03:07Wow.
03:08Holy cow.
03:09Okay.
03:11I'm just going to take a second
03:12and rub some water,
03:13but I love you and I hear you
03:14and I understand.
03:15Yes, thank you.
03:16I love you, too.
03:17I'm not trying to, like, yell at you.
03:18Her life has been on a platter,
03:19like, slaughtered here,
03:20and everybody else is, like,
03:21tit-toeing around their lives.
03:22Yeah.
03:23That's the problem.
03:24You don't need to have an energy drink
03:25when you have to go to bed
03:26before in the morning.
03:27Is that an energy drink?
03:28What are you talking about?
03:32Nia.
03:33What?
03:34Do you not know
03:35what I just experienced right now?
03:37I have no idea.
03:41What is happening?
03:42I just need a second to breathe,
03:44because, like,
03:46there's a lot of adrenaline in my body
03:48and it's a little overwhelming.
03:57I don't really want to be, like,
03:58super consoled right now.
03:59I just need to, like,
04:00get it out, like...
04:02Get it out.
04:03So long story short,
04:07they said Nia's, like, lying,
04:09like she's keeping secrets,
04:10saying that I didn't say Daniel had too much to drink
04:12and he's passed out drunk,
04:13but I'm like,
04:14two things can be true.
04:15No.
04:16No.
04:17You did have too much to drink
04:18and you fell asleep
04:19and that's good for you.
04:20You need to sleep.
04:21You're exhausted.
04:22You did get home at 11 o'clock at night
04:24and wake up at 5 a.m.
04:25and work a full day of work
04:26and then get here and join our group.
04:28And yes, you had a little bit too much to drink.
04:29No one once said...
04:30Nia.
04:31Has that Daniel had a little bit too much to drink?
04:33Is that part of it too?
04:34I would've been like,
04:35yeah, of course,
04:36but, like, also he's tired
04:37because that is part of it.
04:38You had too much to drink,
04:39you fell asleep, that's fine.
04:40Why do you keep saying
04:41I've had too much to drink?
04:42I had the same amount of drink
04:43everybody at the winery.
04:44And less.
04:45Daniel.
04:46You were feeling good.
04:47Yes.
04:48So own it.
04:49That is what it is.
04:50So is everybody.
04:51Exactly.
04:53Food was fantastic.
04:54I tried to finish all of the ice cream
04:55because everyone else was full.
04:56I only got through, like, 10 of them.
04:58I'm getting in the hot tub.
04:59Ugh.
05:00Yeah, same.
05:01We're gonna go in the hot tub.
05:02Well, this went well.
05:05Good times.
05:07Before dinner,
05:08I got home
05:09and I walked into the pantry
05:10to make an Easy Mac cup.
05:11Yes.
05:12Danny came in
05:13and shut the door behind.
05:14Need a snack.
05:18You guys got a big start for me.
05:20He and I were in the pantry together
05:21and I was like,
05:22and then he came and took a swig
05:24of a Casamigos bottle
05:26and I was like, oh.
05:27And then he passed out shortly after.
05:29Like, we know he has a drinking problem.
05:31We get that.
05:32But, like, just talk to us about it.
05:34I feel bad for her
05:35because, you know,
05:36defending your husband
05:37when they're doing stuff
05:39or, like, when your husband's wasted
05:41or whatever,
05:42that's not fun.
05:43I've been with somebody in the past
05:45that has struggled with addiction issues
05:47and I feel like I can relate to Nia in that sense.
05:51I heard that Nia's been in Al-Anon for this issue.
05:55I mean, I went to Al-Anon.
05:57I think it's a great support group.
05:59If she's going to that, that's great.
06:01Just say what it is because when you hide it,
06:04it kind of begs more questions.
06:06Brittany knows I support her.
06:08I'm not sitting here having fun
06:10talking about Jax
06:12and, like, all that he's doing.
06:14We could do that all day every day.
06:15No, let me finish a sentence.
06:16We're not trying to do that, Daniel.
06:17Let me finish a sentence.
06:18Yeah, I'm not your enemy.
06:19Let me finish a sentence.
06:20I'm not sitting here trying to talk bad about Jax.
06:22I'm sitting here trying to support my friend.
06:24And if I, for some reason, have a problem with her,
06:26I come to her and I say,
06:27hey, Brittany, like, this is how I'm feeling.
06:29You know?
06:30I don't just, like, wait till she walks away
06:32and talk bad about her.
06:33Right.
06:34It's just the most hurtful part.
06:39Yeah.
06:40Every relationship is different.
06:42Daniel and I are a little more reserved.
06:44We're a team.
06:45We watch out for each other.
06:46We protect each other.
06:47We don't air our dirty laundry.
06:48We have those conversations behind closed doors.
06:51Oh.
06:52Sorry, baby.
06:54We are human and we have problems.
06:56We do also work really hard on our marriage
06:58when those problems arise.
07:00It does not need to be anybody else's problem.
07:04You can hug me.
07:09Sorry.
07:13I also feel like we all need to be like,
07:15hey, if you're going through some stuff with Daniel
07:18because of his drinking, we're also here for you.
07:20Of course.
07:21You know?
07:22Of course.
07:23That's not fun or easy.
07:24Yeah.
07:25Luke.
07:26Yes, dear.
07:27I feel sleepy and, like, a little dehydrated.
07:32Do you have anything for that?
07:33Yes.
07:34Hey.
07:35Hey.
07:36Morning.
07:37How are you feeling after last night?
07:38I don't exactly know what happened, but I heard.
07:39I'm, like, scared to go in the kitchen.
07:42I feel like, since we only have, like, 30 minutes,
07:44we've got to, like, pack real quick and then we'll just sneak
07:45you out this afternoon.
07:46Yeah.
07:47Yeah.
07:48Yeah.
07:49Yeah.
07:50Yeah.
07:51Yeah.
07:52Yeah.
07:53Yeah.
07:54Yeah.
07:55Yeah.
07:56Yeah.
07:57Yeah.
07:58Yeah.
07:59Yeah.
08:00Yeah.
08:01Yeah.
08:02Yeah.
08:03Yeah.
08:04Yeah.
08:05Yeah.
08:06Yeah.
08:07Yeah.
08:08Yeah.
08:09Yeah.
08:10Yeah.
08:11Yeah.
08:12Yeah.
08:13Yeah.
08:14You can go in the kitchen.
08:16Yeah, you can go out the kitchen.
08:18Yeah, I'll go out the kitchen.
08:19Yeah, I'll go out the kitchen.
08:20Yeah, I'll go out the kitchen.
08:21Alright.
08:22Is everybody gone?
08:24Not everybody.
08:26But Zac, Jasmine, Brittany, and Michelle are getting their car right now.
08:35Ohhh.
08:36The trip was a train wreck.
08:40It looks like that healing ceremony might have to happen again.
08:44Gotta go home.
08:45Too old for these trips.
08:47Coming up, you're hurt because she was cheating for two years.
08:50I wish there was, like, an easier solution.
08:53What about a scream into a pillow?
08:56Get after it.
08:57You want me to scream into a pillow?
08:58Three times as hard as you can.
08:59Woo!
09:06We'll never be high enough, and nobody's stopping us.
09:12Hello.
09:13Hi.
09:15You always look so cute.
09:17You too.
09:17You got the memo.
09:19Matching, yeah.
09:20Hi.
09:21How's it going?
09:22Pretty good.
09:23You ready?
09:24Yeah.
09:25We were looking at some old videos recently of, like, my old dance recitals and showing summer.
09:31I'm like, dang, bomb.
09:32Full glam with me.
09:33When you see the pictures, are you like, that's me, summer?
09:36Oh, yeah.
09:37Yeah.
09:37I think she's looking more like you, the older she gets.
09:40Over the last couple years, Sheena and I have gotten really close.
09:44She also bought a house from me in the valley.
09:46How is she?
09:47She's good.
09:48She's loving school.
09:49Isabella and summer really get along, and I think summer's a really good influence on her.
09:54Lately, she's been wanting to put her bangs back because she says it makes her look older.
09:58She goes, how old do you think I look?
09:59Maybe, like, four.
10:00Really?
10:01That's so cute.
10:02Sheena has gone through a divorce, so she understands how difficult it could be at times.
10:08She's a really good person.
10:10How is Aaron?
10:12He's really good.
10:14Um, how do I say it?
10:16We were perfect.
10:17Like, we get along so well, but I don't know if you heard what happened in Santa Barbara with Jesse.
10:25I've heard bits and pieces.
10:28Jesse was just a disaster.
10:30I made a big mistake in thinking.
10:32Did you not cheat?
10:35Dang.
10:35He called me names that no man should ever say to a woman, let alone to the mother of your child.
10:44Right.
10:44Look at you.
10:45You're a disaster.
10:46And you're a hoker, so it's fine.
10:48I am not doing this.
10:50You're the only lying gene for that I know.
10:52And so Aaron had this conversation with me, like, I love you.
10:57I love Isabella.
10:58Like, I want us to one day be a family, but I can't deal with a crazy ex-husband like that.
11:05It was really hard to call you and tell you what happened.
11:09Yeah, I didn't sleep at all that night.
11:11I know that he's going to be there forever.
11:16It's been hard to, you know, accept.
11:24He said, if nothing changes, like, I think it's better if we're not together.
11:28Wow, I'm sorry.
11:30I've had so much negativity in the last couple years, and it's been really, really hard to basically start all over.
11:40He clearly has, like, major, major issues.
11:44Yeah.
11:44I mean, it's why I left him.
11:47And now I finally have somebody that loves me, and it's devastating to think that we might get to that point where we might break up.
11:57The thought of breaking up with Aaron, like, other than Isabella, like, he's what's really helping me get through this rough time.
12:06And, like, I love him.
12:07I really do.
12:08And I was like, you're going to leave me because Jesse's an ass?
12:12And I was like, I'm not going to allow that.
12:14No, you can't lose him.
12:15You guys are so good together.
12:17And just, like, the smile you have on your face every time you talk about him.
12:21Like, ever since I've known you, you've never had that when you talked about Jesse.
12:27Yeah.
12:27Everyone thought that was my normal self.
12:30I was like, no.
12:31Wow.
12:31I just kept trying and trying.
12:33Yeah, and you can only do that for so long.
12:35Yeah.
12:35What's up, brother?
12:47How you doing?
12:48Good to see you.
12:49Good to see you, too.
12:50Long time in the flesh, yeah.
12:51I know.
12:52You good?
12:53I'm okay.
12:54Yeah?
12:55Yeah, I'm a little tired.
12:56Just got back.
12:58All right, you want a drink or anything?
12:59Uh, water?
13:01Sparkling water?
13:01Yeah, great.
13:02Scott, the marriage coach that Michelle and I worked with last summer.
13:10Okay, so how are we functioning together?
13:13Um, it's just constant conflict all the time.
13:17I've leaned on him quite a bit and have continued to work with him still to today.
13:23It was a lot.
13:23The trip was just a little chaotic.
13:26I'm more mad at myself since Santa Barbara, to be honest with you.
13:30I want to find out how I'm being triggered so easily.
13:35What I realized on the trip is, like, when I was going through the grief of the divorce,
13:40I never went through the grief of, like, did I win or did I fail?
13:45I was thinking about that a lot on the trip.
13:47It's just another thing that I buried down.
13:49It's like, Michelle admitted that she cheated on me.
13:51Yes, I did admit kissing somebody.
13:53It's hurtful.
13:54She said, well, there's no way that you were not cheating for two years when you were off drinking wine with your friends.
14:02That's a projection, though.
14:04You mean to tell me all those years that you left me alone, you were such a good boy when you were drunken out for hours?
14:11Then it turns into the, you know, you're the cheater and you're projecting on me and you're a whore and you're this and you're that.
14:17You're the only lying, cheating whore that I know.
14:20F*** you.
14:21That makes you bad.
14:22The actual thing is that you're hurt because she was cheating for two years, but when she projects back onto you, that puts you into devil mode, right?
14:32Right.
14:32And now the world can just make you wrong for being a dick in devil mode and everybody forgot about the cheating that was going on for two years.
14:38Right.
14:39It's kind of a brilliant play.
14:41Here's the path.
14:43The path is recognizing that your life as a metaphor is a garden and your attention is water.
14:49And you're planting seeds all the time with your actions.
14:52Yeah.
14:53Your attention is the water.
14:55Whatever you put your attention on will inevitably grow.
14:59So if you put your attention on those beautiful flowers, which is water those flowers, what's going to happen?
15:04But if you go and put a bunch of water in poison ivy, what's going to happen?
15:07Yeah.
15:08You got to hold yourself accountable.
15:11No more acting like a dick.
15:13No more being self-important.
15:14None of it.
15:15No matter what she does or says.
15:17It's not yours.
15:20I wish there was like an easier solution.
15:23Like a deep breath or a quick run on the beach.
15:26What about a scream into a pillow?
15:28With everything you got.
15:29Because what will end up happening is either you start crying or you start laughing.
15:35Get after it.
15:35You want me to scream into the pillow?
15:36Three times as hard as you can.
15:40Look at you.
15:41Stop.
15:42Look at you.
15:43Your child.
15:46I made a mistake.
15:47I made a big mistake in thinking.
15:49Did you or did you not cheat?
15:53I came here to check for your well-being.
15:55You seem perfectly fine.
15:58Oof.
15:59Hurt my abs a little bit.
16:04How do you feel?
16:06Pretty good actually.
16:08Coming up.
16:09I was homeless with my mom when I was a kid.
16:11Like we were living in a shelter.
16:12We like slept on couches.
16:14We pitched tents in people's backyards.
16:16Oh, don't you play no games.
16:20Work on a holiday.
16:22All up and set your pay.
16:24Like there ain't nothing in your way.
16:26Go get up.
16:26Get out of here.
16:28Do something with yourself.
16:30Move to your out of breath.
16:32Girl, make a...
16:34Girl, make a nice and nice.
16:35Let's go.
16:36Check it out.
16:38Oh, that looks so cool.
16:41The painters did some good work.
16:43This looks amazing.
16:44So big.
16:46Oh, I'm so happy.
16:47Oh my God.
16:48Luke and I are so excited to be moving into this beautiful house.
16:55We have a pool.
16:56We have three bedrooms.
16:57We have our master bedroom.
16:59We have a guest room for family and friends to be visiting.
17:02And we have an extra bedroom.
17:04And the extra bedroom will hopefully be used as a nursery.
17:07So then the rug will go in here right now.
17:09And then the day bed for right now.
17:11Mm-hmm.
17:12And that white dresser.
17:14But Luke and I are only renting this house.
17:18We're still unsure of where we even want to lay our roots permanently.
17:22This house is the first step in my big plan for our future.
17:27How long have you and Chris been together now?
17:30It's been over two years.
17:32What you waiting for?
17:33I have some thoughts with a proposal.
17:36What?
17:37Yeah.
17:39Cheers.
17:42Hold on.
17:43Come on, let me do it.
17:48Hello?
17:49Oh, I don't think they can see me.
17:51I wanted to see what it looks like.
17:54Oh, she's here.
17:54Hi.
17:55Oh, hi.
17:56Hi, baby.
17:58Hi.
17:58Jill, do you like your new home?
18:01Jill.
18:01Hi.
18:02Okay, go say hi.
18:02Guys, this is so nice.
18:04Hi.
18:04Hey, Jill.
18:05Except that it's a trillion degrees.
18:06I know, but it's huge.
18:08Look at how big the pool is, though.
18:09It's huge.
18:10Oh, come on.
18:10I know.
18:11Hey.
18:11How are you?
18:12Oh, this is so nice.
18:14So you had the keys for a while.
18:15You just took the first step.
18:16You had the keys for a couple weeks.
18:17You want to see the rest of the house?
18:18Yes.
18:18Show me a tour.
18:19Okay.
18:19Yeah, let's go inside.
18:20It's so cool.
18:20It's so hot.
18:21This is really nice, though.
18:22I can't wait to see what you guys are going to do with it.
18:24I know.
18:25This we had painted.
18:26Okay.
18:27Nice.
18:28Just like modernize it a bit.
18:30And then Luke's going to do all the changing of the that and the whatnot.
18:34How many rooms is it?
18:35It's a three-bedroom, two-bath.
18:36Okay.
18:38Are you hot?
18:39Are you hot?
18:40He's trying to beat me to it.
18:42You want to in the house?
18:43He's christened.
18:43He's a young, strapping lad.
18:46Hey, Mom, I do not want to go swimming in a swimming pool.
18:49Give me a cup.
18:50How was your ride home?
18:51It was fine.
18:52I knew, like, week ago, I was like, Danny and Nia are not going to ride with me, of course.
18:56She's probably, like, pissed off or something.
18:58And I do want to apologize to her because I felt bad.
19:01With Danny's drinking, my question is, like, is it uncomfortable to ask Nia, like, when she says,
19:07oh, he's just taking a nap, to just be like, is he drunk?
19:10Danny was tired.
19:12Like, I just, I think.
19:12Maybe he was tired.
19:14I was just like, he's a voice actor.
19:15I'm sorry.
19:16You stand in the booth all day and you talk.
19:20How tired can you be?
19:21Like, did Ursula take your voice?
19:23Because I'm confused.
19:24What is going on here?
19:27The problem was, like, why can't you just say, like, he's f***ed up?
19:30And I think maybe I was a little triggered on that, too.
19:32Yeah.
19:32Because when it happened on Halloween, it did bother me.
19:35Of course.
19:36Being in a queer, gay relationship, it's so much harder than being in a straight relationship.
19:41Like, the things that comes with it.
19:43Like, just us being at a bar.
19:44Like, men not taking us seriously.
19:46It's like this fetishized thing that, like, ooh, two women together.
19:49Like, oh, it's not that serious.
19:51I can, you know, touch them, do whatever, and say certain things, and it's not okay.
19:54If it was Janet and you did this f*** to Jason, oh, man, it probably would have been, like, a fight.
20:00Who knows?
20:01The reason it was brought up again is because it was kind of, like, to show a pattern.
20:04But here, so we were talking about this last night, and I was thinking to myself, too, like,
20:09if it were exactly the same situation, Luke had to leave, he had to go work, he had to drive back,
20:14and then he, like, got to the winery and then decided to, like, do some shots, but he was, like, super tired.
20:19And if you guys were, like, wait, we're Luco, I would be, like, he's tired.
20:24Like, he went to bed.
20:24Since when does it matter if someone gets drunk in this group and falls asleep?
20:27Why does that matter?
20:28When everyone was drinking.
20:30Yeah.
20:31Britt said, well, we're going to, I think, like, in a few days, like, Tuesday or something, we'll have the girls' dinner.
20:36So, I was going to see if you wanted to have, like, a dinner, kind of clear the air, make things better.
20:44Yeah, I feel bad that you had cried.
20:46I didn't want her to cry.
20:47You know, that's not, I think we're all better than that, and I feel bad that happened, so.
20:51But we'll talk when we can.
20:54I've been dying to get in this pool.
20:56We haven't, we've been over here, like, four times.
20:58I have to check on the place, and I think it's time to jump in.
21:01Let's get in and round.
21:01Let's do anything soon.
21:02Yay!
21:06I've got butterflies, man.
21:23Let's go, bro.
21:25Let's go.
21:26Let me get the door for you, sir.
21:31How do you get goosebumps when it's 100 degrees outside?
21:33No kidding.
21:36I've got to see the ring, man.
21:41All right, let's pull out these rings.
21:43You know what Kristen wants.
21:44We've talked about this.
21:46Yes.
21:46She likes emerald cut.
21:49Yeah.
21:50What are the C's?
21:51The clarity cut and...
21:53Carrot.
21:54Carrot.
21:54We're talking about VVS1, VVS2.
21:57This one is F color, VVS2, and the carat weight, 703.
22:05This one's 14 carat white gold, so it's nice and strong.
22:08Yep.
22:08Yeah.
22:09You know, real cheap.
22:11Kristen flat out told me that she will chop my balls off if I spend more than $10,000 on
22:17a ring.
22:18What do you think of that, though?
22:19I think it's gorgeous.
22:20It's a statement.
22:21That is a statement.
22:23Holy cow.
22:24It's a statement saying, I want to look like I have more money than I do.
22:30How are you feeling?
22:31I don't know.
22:31A lot of things.
22:32Your balls going into your stomach?
22:34I feel like I'm feeling a lot of things.
22:34I don't think I have balls anymore.
22:36When do you see this happening?
22:38Are you talking within a few months?
22:40Only thing I know for sure is I plan this year.
22:43Yeah.
22:43At some point this year.
22:44Yeah.
22:45So when did you realize that, like, Kristen was the one?
22:48Kristen and I have already been through some ups and downs.
22:50These really cool, awesome things that have happened.
22:53These follicles look kind of exactly where they should be.
22:57Cheers.
22:59You're making babies.
23:01Cheers to the sauce.
23:03And then these really low lows.
23:10I hate my body.
23:12You know, I think it really hit me.
23:13We were on a long drive to Indiana.
23:16It was a 5,000-mile road trip with four dogs in tow.
23:19The fact that she could do that with me is something I've never experienced before.
23:24Kristen is the love of my life, and this ring is going to show that.
23:28Yep, that's the ring.
23:30Well, I have a surprise for you.
23:31I'd actually like to.
23:32You have?
23:32I'm joking.
23:32No, no, no.
23:33Of course I'm not paying for your ring.
23:34I saw the black card in there.
23:35I saw that black Amex.
23:36Think about the rewards, Danny.
23:37Think about the rewards.
23:38I wanted to do the rewards.
23:39I want to do the rewards.
23:39What's going on?
23:50Isabella?
23:51Why?
23:51Why don't you put on a little iPad?
23:55I have a burger.
23:56Oh, fantastic.
23:59Let me see it.
24:01That's amazing.
24:04Okay, chicken, broccoli.
24:05Do you want the french fries from Chateau?
24:08Mm-hmm.
24:09Okay.
24:10I think you get to a point where you can only be hostile and angry until you're exhausted.
24:18You're a disaster.
24:19And you're a hicker.
24:20I'm the mother of your child.
24:24And then you just have to either let it go or let it consume you.
24:27And I just don't want to let it consume me because I have my relationship, I have my business, and I have my daughter.
24:35No, my dad came.
24:36Which game?
24:37You're talking about the card game?
24:40Yeah, we have to play that.
24:42Oh my god!
24:48I have to tell you something.
24:50Why?
24:52I searched the entire house for your key.
24:56Do you know where you put it?
24:58Where?
24:59In the fridge.
25:01What?
25:02Can you come drop a key off?
25:04I'd rather not because it's mommy's house.
25:07But I want it!
25:09Isabella can get bossy, but she kind of always wins.
25:14All right, I'm going to drop off the key then.
25:18Be outside in five minutes.
25:19It's okay.
25:20Bye.
25:21Bye.
25:22Love you.
25:25Oh my god.
25:26I hope that Michelle and I can figure it out.
25:31In the fridge.
25:32In the fridge.
25:34It's not cold.
25:35Right now, she resents and hates me so much.
25:39Did you bring the Crocs?
25:41No, I was rushing.
25:43I'll bring them tomorrow.
25:44In the orange sippy cup thing.
25:47This is deep-rooted resentment.
25:49This isn't Jesse repeated a rumor and Michelle's mad at me.
25:52This is deep-seated anger that I don't know where it's coming from.
25:57Isabella, it's bedtime.
25:59Come on.
26:00I am just coexisting with Michelle at this point.
26:05Give me a kiss.
26:06Oh.
26:06We live this parallel life.
26:10Until that life collides again in a positive way, I think it'll work itself out.
26:17Good night.
26:18I love you.
26:28It smells good.
26:31Oh my gosh.
26:32This is already looking awesome.
26:33It's going to taste awesome too.
26:35Do you want me to put plates out or do anything like that?
26:37I think we got it under control.
26:39Do y'all want a shot?
26:40I'm okay right now.
26:42I think it's important that we talk about what happened in Santa Barbara.
26:45Hi.
26:46You're so cute.
26:47You look cute.
26:48I think it's important we move past it.
26:50Hi.
26:51Hi.
26:51I love Nia.
26:53I don't want to be fighting with Nia.
26:55Are you kidding me?
26:56Look at this.
26:57This is what we should have had at Santa Barbara.
26:58Do you girls look at the arm?
27:00Yeah.
27:01I've hired the chef, Gino, many times before.
27:03We all think he's such a cutie.
27:07He's just great and great to look at.
27:10Oh my God.
27:11Oh, hey.
27:12You look so cute.
27:13You look cute.
27:14How are you guys?
27:15Good.
27:16I'm like nervous.
27:17I don't know why.
27:18I'm a little bit too.
27:20Hello.
27:20Hello.
27:23Hi.
27:25Hi.
27:27How are you?
27:28I'm all right.
27:28You look good.
27:31How are you doing?
27:32You look so cute.
27:32I'm okay.
27:33I feel so uncomfortable.
27:35Am I going to my funeral?
27:37Like, why is everybody wearing black?
27:38I missed the memo.
27:39The black and white memo.
27:40We didn't even talk about it.
27:43What's up, business niches?
27:45Hi.
27:45Hi.
27:46Oh, you look so cute.
27:47Hi.
27:47Hi.
27:47Hi.
27:47Do you guys want to sit down?
27:53Ladies, pardon me really quickly.
27:54I just have a caviar first course.
27:56I know somebody is a vegetarian.
27:58Is it you?
27:58Okay.
27:59I have a special vegetarian substitute for you can grab and I'll pass it around.
28:03Oh, amazing.
28:04Yeah.
28:05Take any of the ones with caviar.
28:09I have no idea what caviar is like.
28:11I don't know if I've ever had caviar.
28:12It's good.
28:13It doesn't taste like fish or anything.
28:15Cheers, everybody.
28:17Cheers.
28:17Cheers.
28:18Cheers.
28:18Cheers.
28:18Cheers.
28:21Mmm.
28:22Mm-hmm.
28:23Love it.
28:24That's so good.
28:25That is so good.
28:26That is really good.
28:27Delicious.
28:27Yay.
28:38Well, I think at the beginning of this dinner, I would like to address what happened the other
28:43day in Santa Barbara because I love you very much and this is why I wanted to do this and
28:49get all of us together so that we could, like, clear the air and I'm, like, so sorry
28:53for how it came across and how it came out.
28:56Like, if we weren't drinking all day and eating all day, and I know that drinking is
29:00an excuse, but it, like, definitely brought out a worse side.
29:04And I apologize for that.
29:05I really do.
29:06I definitely want to apologize to you, Nia.
29:08Thanks.
29:08Um, I'm sorry that I raised my voice and you like that.
29:11That was unacceptable.
29:13Not blaming alcohol.
29:14Like, I shouldn't have done that.
29:15So I just want to say I'm sorry because I think that we have been building this relationship
29:19that's, like, great and we have so much fun together.
29:22I'm sorry.
29:22I shouldn't have done that.
29:24Um, thank you.
29:25Um, I just, like, you know, and they will stop thinking about it and, you know, to sleep
29:31really well and all that.
29:33It was just really hurtful that, like, my friends waited until I left the table to say
29:37something.
29:37Like, we're sitting here talking to each other.
29:40If you were like, Nia, come on, I feel like Daniel's passed out because he had some wine.
29:44Like, say it to me.
29:46I agree with you 100%.
29:47That was really the most hurtful thing.
29:49I think it was, like, building, not to interrupt.
29:50I think it, like, just was building up and then, like, I don't know what happened.
29:55Anyway, a few months ago, we all know, Dani got really drunk at the bar.
29:59Yeah, October.
30:00Said some inappropriate things, some touching, got kicked out of Jax's bar, and I think that's
30:06why I got triggered.
30:07In my mind, I'm thinking, okay, she's not being honest.
30:10Yeah, and that's where our issues originally, like, majorly triggered from.
30:14But there was, like, weeks and weeks and weeks where we weren't good.
30:18I've never said that Daniel didn't make a mistake.
30:21After everything that happened with Daniel and Jasmine at that Halloween party, after
30:26everything that's happened, like, you can't just let something like that sit.
30:30So we've really worked through it.
30:32We did our own individual, like, group therapy, individual therapy, and then marriage counseling.
30:37Like, we had some really hard conversations, and it was just a lot of work that got us to
30:43a lot better place.
30:45You pretend that everything's perfect, and I think that's what people were noticing.
30:51The perception of how I am is just different because maybe you don't know what I come from.
30:58I was homeless with my mom when I was a kid.
31:00Like, we were living in a shelter.
31:01We, like, slept on couches.
31:03We pitched tents in people's backyards.
31:06I had no idea that Nia had gone through so much.
31:12If I hear anyone saying anything negative about Nia, they're going to have to deal with
31:16me first.
31:23I was homeless with my mom when I was a kid.
31:25Like, we were living in a shelter.
31:27We, like, slept on couches.
31:29We pitched tents in people's backyards.
31:31And we had to, like, go to parks and, like, get cans out of trash cans to, like, pay rent.
31:37Like, I've had times that I've slept in my own car as an adult.
31:40Like, I had a job, but I, like, I had to sleep in my car at the parking lot where I work.
31:45Like, how mortifying is that to, like, wake up to a security guard being, like, you need
31:49to leave the employee parking lot and, like, having to go sleep in a rouse instead or something,
31:53you know?
31:54It's like, life has not been easy, but that's okay because it's made me strong.
32:01And if I can be that point of, like, light and kindness and positivity, I'd rather choose
32:08to bring that into people's life.
32:10I've been through so much, but I've always chosen to be positive because I feel like
32:14you can let things that happen to you, like, break you.
32:18I literally remember getting into the front seat of my car from sleeping in the back seat
32:22and saying, like, thank you, God, that I at least have a car.
32:25So, like, I've always had to have that perspective.
32:28Nobody knows, but, like, that's the way that I am.
32:30And my therapist is, like, you've had to be that way to survive.
32:35I love you.
32:41I'm not going to be negative with people when I have so much to be grateful for.
32:45And if my friends want to say that I'm hiding things because I'm choosing to be intentional
32:52and positive, then they can say whatever they want to say, but I know my truth.
32:56Thank you for sharing that.
32:58You explain that right now, like, totally makes sense.
33:00I think it was hard to see, like, so many people being, like, so vulnerable about certain
33:04things and then, like, you know, little things to just be like, okay, like, you know, so
33:09I just, I think that was the frustration there.
33:12Yeah, and I can see your perspective, but, like, you know, if you felt like I was hiding
33:16something, it was more hurtful to me that you waited until I left the table.
33:19Like, if you had, like, a concern or a problem or, like, an issue with me, it's, like, ask me.
33:24Like, I'm not hiding stuff.
33:25You were going to say something to my face, like.
33:26I think, yeah.
33:27But I, like, I love seeing that, this part of you because I, like, you are so honest
33:34and you are very open.
33:36I'm really grateful and happy to see that Nia's opening up and being honest and that
33:41they've been working through things, but behavior didn't stop.
33:46My husband has never once hid in a cupboard chugging tequila, making people uncomfortable.
33:49I think some of the reason that I had such a reaction also to, like, Daniel being passed
33:56out was something kind of strange happened.
33:59Like, when we got back to the house after wine tasting, I, like, walked into the walk-in
34:03pantry to, like, get a snack.
34:05And when I walked in, Daniel came in behind me and shut the door and then, like, chugged
34:10out of a tequila bottle.
34:11And it just made me feel a little bit uncomfortable because I didn't want to be a part of, like,
34:16he wanted to do something that he didn't want everyone to see.
34:19I'm like, I don't want to know about it either.
34:21If you ever are having concerns about his drinking, like, I don't want you, because
34:27of how Santa Barbara went down, to feel like you don't have friends that you could go to.
34:31I was in a relationship for years where somebody had drug and alcohol problems.
34:35I feel like that's a really big statement for you to kind of make.
34:37Like, I know you're trying to be nice, but, like, that's kind of, like, really a big thing
34:40to say.
34:41Like, if you have a problem with Daniel's, like, drinking, like, I, we are good now.
34:44I think she means because he's in the closet, like, taking a shot.
34:47But then you just, she just compared it to someone who had drug and alcohol problems.
34:50I missed that.
34:50I missed that.
34:51I missed that.
34:51I missed that.
34:52Because Daniel doesn't do drugs, so comparing it to someone who had drug and alcohol problems
34:55is, like, a whole different thing.
34:58Janet is so off base.
35:00I came here for resolution, and you're implying that my husband has a drug and alcohol problem.
35:07This is the worst apology that I've ever heard.
35:10When it feels like you're hiding something, it's not great.
35:14Yeah, because God forbid I compare a very painful and difficult experience I went through
35:20to Nia's perfect husband.
35:23It was an uncomfortable moment.
35:24I wanted to tell you.
35:25Makes sense.
35:26Yeah.
35:28Everybody was drinking.
35:30The one thing moving forward, if we can all do, is, like, if there's a problem, go to
35:37the person.
35:37Yeah.
35:38Straight up and ask.
35:39Let's all pinky swear to each other.
35:41Pinky promise?
35:42She was like a witch.
35:43We're going to do that from here on out.
35:44Okay, got this.
35:45Pinky swear.
35:46I mean, fingers crossed.
35:47I'm proved wrong.
35:48But when it comes to this pinky promise, I think there's a 0% chance in the forecast
35:53that these girls are going to follow through.
35:56My Uber's here.
35:58I have to go.
35:59I hope you feel better, right?
36:01Yeah.
36:01Because, like, I think all of us wanted this to be...
36:04Me too.
36:05I hope you get the best night of sleep tonight.
36:07In this moment, it does not feel like Janet is being a friend.
36:12I just feel like what Daniel and I have experienced and worked through is now kind of being thrown
36:20back at me and even, like, weaponized.
36:22I feel like she is assuming the worst of us and just putting that out there, and it just
36:27doesn't feel right.
36:28I feel like that was really positive.
36:30Me too.
36:30With Nia.
36:31I appreciate, like, that we had this conversation with her.
36:33I still feel, I'm not going, a little...
36:37When somebody cries in front of me, I'm just like, f***, I can't.
36:39I'm like, I can't do it.
36:40What do you still feel what?
36:41I feel like she thought that it was more about her relationship with her and Dani.
36:44That's what I kept saying over and over.
36:45I was like, let me be clear.
36:46She just literally poured her heart out and explained exactly why she does it.
36:51I'm not saying he has a dream car, but I'm telling you, I know signs.
36:54Are you kidding me?
36:55Like, I don't know what an alcoholic is doing.
36:57So when Gina said, I'm like, ding, ding, ding.
37:00I've been there before my life.
37:01She might understand that.
37:02It might be something more.
37:04Because that's only why she attacked you like that.
37:06And she's still being very defensive of the idea.
37:08I just think it's a really dangerous thing to call someone like an alcoholic.
37:11She didn't call me.
37:12She said it triggered her.
37:13But I'm sorry, Vichelman.
37:14No costume.
37:15It jacked his bar on Halloween with a f***ing jacket on.
37:18No costume.
37:18And start grabbing people's ass and telling him to call you daddy.
37:21You got a problem.
37:22And get kicked out twice.
37:23In Dani's mind, he thinks that everything's fine.
37:25You took the apology.
37:27That was weird.
37:27That was completely out of my character.
37:29I am so sorry.
37:32But it's, I don't know if it's trauma and just being a woman.
37:36I want to talk to Dani to, like, let him understand, like, how would you feel if somebody grabbed
37:40Mia's ass and said, get daddy a drink in our friend group?
37:43Like, how would that make you feel?
37:44It's hard because I really am wanting to move past it because I'm over it.
37:48But it's like, maybe I'm not.
37:49Yeah.
38:13Hi.
38:14Hey.
38:14How's it going?
38:19It's going good.
38:22How you doing?
38:23Good.
38:25Thank you for doing this.
38:27I was such a disaster.
38:29Oh.
38:30I hear you.
38:31Ease up.
38:33So we should probably have to go.
38:35Hell yeah.
38:37I'm so exhausted.
38:39You just, you're exhausted.
38:41I just, I just want to go to bed.
38:46What's up?
38:48Um.
38:50Talk to me.
38:51I feel like everything ended fine.
38:54It's just, like, so emotionally draining.
38:57There was one moment with Janet where she was like, if you do have a problem with Daniel
39:02and his drinking and, like, all of that, then you can come to us.
39:06Like, I have an ex that had a drug and alcohol problem and, you know, I can be here for you.
39:12And I was like, I know.
39:14I was like, that's a big statement, first of all.
39:16Oh, my gosh.
39:18Yeah.
39:19Janet, again, trying to stir something up.
39:22Making assumptions that aren't true, but throwing them out there, seeing who wants to catch them.
39:29Janet cannot make those statements.
39:31Yeah, but we're not going to focus on it because I let her know that that was inappropriate.
39:35Yeah, she understood and heard me that it's not okay to make those comparisons.
39:49How did the night end?
39:50Like, did you, were you Nia good?
39:51Were you in?
39:52I guess this is where I'm, like, kind of with Nia.
39:54You can't continue to protect this person who's doing something wrong, especially when it's
40:00affecting, like, Jasmine and Melissa's relationship.
40:02It's just sort of like, like, at this point, you got to know your limits.
40:05Well, it's the hiding, too.
40:07Kristen kept saying, oh, we're not going to act like Danny has a drinking problem.
40:10Well, I'm not saying Danny needs to be where Jax is, but it might be worth questioning his
40:15relationship with alcohol.
40:17If it's hiding, if you're doing these little things, it's, it's not great.
40:22There's one more thing that was said.
40:23Janet said that when you had the tequila, she was in the pantry slash, like, bedroom area,
40:29and you had, like, gone in there with the tequila and, like, taken a shot of it in there
40:33with, like, the door closed, like you were hiding it.
40:35And so she's like, I don't want to be on it in any secret.
40:37And I was like, well, Daniel woke up, he, no, honey, don't laugh.
40:40Take, I want you to take this seriously.
40:42Yes.
40:42So don't laugh.
40:43Okay.
40:43Take it seriously.
40:44I do.
40:45If you close the door and you, that looks like it's hiding it to somebody.
40:50You told me you had tequila.
40:51Exactly.
40:51But you didn't tell me that you, like, went into a pantry and, like, took a shot behind the door.
40:55That's where the bottles were in that back door.
40:58Yes.
40:58I didn't know that.
40:59I didn't know where they were at.
41:00So I literally picked it up and took a shot.
41:03With the door closed.
41:04And when I was going back in there, that shut the door.
41:08Yeah.
41:08Yes.
41:08So, whatever.
41:10I'm not bothered by it.
41:11I know.
41:12I'm sorry.
41:13It's just crazy to me.
41:14I know.
41:14I think you do a nervous laugh, but I don't like it.
41:17I'm not doing a nervous laugh.
41:17You did the, like, it feels like a laugh.
41:20Like, I don't like it.
41:21No, I'm, like, I'm just in shock by the whole thing.
41:26I mean, I think that I should talk to Danny.
41:28I don't know if he'll just say it's, like, oh, you know, I'm stressed out just letting,
41:32blowing off steam, or if it's, like, a deeper thing, because really to get to that blackout
41:36level is a different animal.
41:38Yeah.
41:38It's not, like, a thing that he's only hurting himself.
41:41It's, like, now he's hurting other people.
41:42Yeah.
41:45This evening feels like the roast of Danny Bucco.
41:49That's not okay.
41:52And that really pisses me off.
41:58Next time on The Valley.
42:02It's a special day for me today because I get to see my son.
42:05Jax was like, well, I already signed a lease to a condo.
42:09He's moving in next door to Tom Schwartz.
42:12I do not want him to get out.
42:13I wish he was, like, in actual jail.
42:15I'm so sorry, Britt.
42:16Jasmine felt triggered by the fact that last time she saw you being very drunk.
42:22I was not drunk.
42:23You're not making sense right now.
42:25I'm saying that the connection is obvious.
42:25Hold on, can I talk for a second?
42:28Jason's in no space to be judging.
42:30Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:32Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:34Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:34Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:35Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:35Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:36Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:36Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:37Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:38Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:39Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:40Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
42:41Keep your wedding ring on, and then you can start talking.
