00:00and tony you mentioned uh you know how culture is going to be a big part of this that was one part
00:19that we heard michael irvin talk about the other day on his podcast but the other thing he kept
00:23underlined over and over again was just competitiveness and a competitive atmosphere
00:27uh did you feel that did you get that same sense while you're out there that hey this this stuff
00:32that people may think a ping pong table is a distraction or oh you're not focusing on work
00:36did you look at it like michael didn't say no this is just a very competitive environment
00:40consistently throughout the day well i can i can say that honestly i don't think it's been like this
00:47and you know michael saw it just like everyone else and myself is that i noticed the tempo the energy
00:53the enthusiasm from moving throughout meetings and through you know through the walkthrough
00:59through the team uh drills on the field individual drill these guys are working and there's a tempo
01:06there's an energy that you know from this moving and and you know flowing really fast and this sense
01:12of urgency let's get out here and work and let's we're always going to be to have this high tempo and
01:17and i think once you instill that and granted it's otas so i i i totally understand that but
01:24that's where it starts it starts now because obviously the you know the game has changed so
01:28much it's more of a mental game now and he as far as you know what the nfl allows you to do as far as
01:34hitting so i sense that uh right away and it's a great question because i think that that's really
01:40encouraging because you see a lot of teams that don't have that urgency and i think it comes from
01:46brian schottenheimer his philosophy is look we're going to go fast fast fast tempo tempo tempo
01:52focus focus focus and that's going to be our narrative going this season so i'm just like
01:59michael and everyone else i was blown away of the detail and the individual drill and the sense of
02:05urgency of work and a technique and and really just uh understanding and it's the mental aspect of it
02:12because all these guys are physically they can play in the nfl it's like what are they going to do to
02:17really get to the mental attitude of it and i really thought that that really stuck out
