00:04Hillsborough, I think. It's very bad for parking. Roads are only narrow and when parked on both sides,

00:11which is often most of the roads around Hillsborough now.

00:17Are there particular streets that are worse than others?

00:22Yeah, I would say Dykeshall Road, where buses have to try to get up to.

00:27And all the little ones around the shopping area, it's really bad.

00:34Because you can't get parked to put your car and then go shopping. It's a bit difficult.

00:41What would you say? Would you agree?

00:45Well, it's just a natural thing now.

00:49There's that many vehicles going about.

00:56There's no aromas.

00:57There's no room at all, you know.

00:59I mean, they have mules and a bloke walking in, you know what I mean?

01:06About 200 years since.

01:11It's crazy.

01:13But you have to get over it, don't you?

01:17We've got it to do.

01:18Well, there's that many people.

01:21They don't have one car per house now.

01:23It's two or three, which is...

01:26It's only expected because children want to drive now as soon as they can.

01:31And they've got to have a parking spot.

01:35Definitely the town centre.

01:38Any particular streets or any particular areas within that?

01:40There's not enough car parks or street parking since they've been reduced.

01:48I guess probably some areas around the city centre on weekends.

01:53So some areas are dead during the week.

01:55But weekends, it tends to be a bit of a nightmare.

01:59So particularly the town centre.

02:01City centre, anywhere around there.

02:03Any of the queue parks are too expensive.

02:05The council room ones are too expensive.

02:09They should reduce the price of them or make it easier to park at earlier times.

02:15Especially if you're going to a food like the cinema.

02:18It stops at about half past eight, I think.

02:21So it's cheaper after that.

02:24But it's still incredibly expensive.

02:26And also around the hospitals as well.

02:29I'd probably say in the city centre at the minute.

02:32It's definitely got worse.

02:34You no longer can drive through the city centre.

02:36So it's definitely had problems for local businesses in the city centre.

02:41So that's definitely become a problem.

02:42So the parking is difficult as well?

02:44Yeah, around Surrey Street and more in the city centre.

02:48I think that could be definitely improved on.
