“Trying best to get her out of jail” Sharmishta Panoli's Advocate after she arrested for communal post

Kolkata (WB), June 2, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on social media influencer Sharmishta Panoli, who was arrested for allegedly hurting religious sentiments and is currently in judicial custody for 14 days, after her arrest her advocate Md Samimuddin said, "We are trying our best to get her released before June 13. We will sit down today and discuss the matter." He said "We are trying our best to get her out of jail before June 13. We will sit down on the matter today and discuss it. We will take a call in one or two days about what we will do... She is not maintaining proper hygiene (at  Alipore women correctional home), and she is not feeling well. She has kidney stones. She has not been given access to newspapers and magazines. Today we have filed a petition in the court so that she gets access to her basic rights... Sharmistha is innocent. We are trying our best to get out on bail..."
