Best places to go in Bridlington: Boat trips, arcades, model village and beaches

00:00The best things to do here in Bridlington?

00:03I think some of the best things are all the coastline, really.

00:05It isn't just Bridlington.

00:07You've got miles of coast.

00:09You've got Flamborough.

00:11You've got Filey, Scarborough, Whitby.

00:13So it's, you know, it's walking and experiencing all the coast.

00:17The Cliffs got Benton Cliffs.

00:19The RSBV, which is fantastic.

00:24And mainly, I would say, the centre of Bridget is mainly for children,

00:29for kids, and all the shops and the arcades and things and the fairgrounds.

00:36Boat rides, speedboats, Yorkshire Bell.

00:39So, yeah, I think that's really most of the attractions

00:42are probably for the kids and the families, yeah.

00:45The best places to go in Bridlington?

00:47Obviously, Chloe's Toy Shop.

00:49And then after that, I would say the Friends Cafe.

00:53They do some really nice lunches and they're cheap and cheerful and good and that.

00:57And then I'd say Leisure World.

00:58Oh, that's fun.

00:59They actually do, like, the climbing and, you know, the pool and that and all of that.

01:03And, yeah.

01:03So, and now I see Soobry Hall and Gardens.

01:06That's another place I like to go as well.

01:08And up near Carnaby, they've got a nice little farm and zoo up there.

01:12So, yeah, there's lots to do here.

01:13People have just landed in Bridlington.

01:15How are you finding it?

01:16At least better than what I thought it would be, actually.

01:20I'd come in the 70s with my two daughters.

01:24If they didn't stay, we'd be sort of parked and suddenly, they thought, no, whatever.

01:31But coming back today, I don't think it was that bad.

01:37To say that I'd heard that it was in joint place, bottom, worst coastal seaside place.

01:45I wouldn't expect it as something, you know, not so good.

01:50But, you know, we've said, aren't we?

01:53I don't actually think it's that bad because the beach and everything looks really nice.

01:58Salt on the harbour.

02:00And then if you need some sweets, candy chocolate.

02:02The Goat Sports Bar has all the sport on every evening.

02:06It's a nice, lively place.
