00:00Whether on foot or via land train, Bridlington Spa stands the test of time.

00:07It's not always stood the test of time, with numerous fires at the building.

00:13The building was first built in 1896 for visitors that would flock to the resort's spa waters.

00:21This building stands as the highlight in a quintessentially British seaside resort.

00:27There's now family entertainment on, tea dances and also many music acts and gigs taking place at the famous Bridlington Spa.

00:39We just stopped at Bridlington Lifeboat Station, super friendly volunteers.

00:43They were telling us all about the Race the Waves events taking place here.

00:47So basically loads of vintage, classic, original cars come and they race.

00:52Last year it didn't work out because there was too much sea mist so they couldn't see the start and finish.

00:56But it's back again this year and there's also a Northern Soul Weekender coming up.
