Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump was asked if former First Lady Jill Biden should testify before Congress.

00:01I got one for President Trump.

00:03President Trump, Biden aides, who used to work here,

00:08are in talks with Republicans in Congress to go and testify about

00:13what they did or didn't do to possibly conceal President Biden's decline.

00:19Do you think that Dr. Jill Biden should also have to come in

00:22and testify about what she did or didn't do?

00:27Well, I hate the concept of it.

00:29It's the wife of a man who was going through a lot of problems,

00:35and everybody that dealt with him understood that.

00:37And I guess it came out during the debate loud and clear.

00:40That was the biggest signal of all.

00:43They have to do what's right.

00:45The country was a lot of dishonesty in the election, as you know, of 2020.

00:51That's been now caught.

00:52People understand it.

00:53It was a rigged election.

00:55And when you go further out, when you see the auto pen,

00:58I mean, I think the auto pen is going to become one of the great scandals of all time

01:02because you have somebody operating it or a number of people operating.

01:06Because I knew Joe Biden.

01:07Joe Biden wasn't in favor of opening up orders,

01:10letting 21 million people into this from prisons and mental institutions and gang members.

01:15He wasn't into that at all.

01:17And, you know, who signed these orders, proclamations,

01:21and all of the different things that he signed that set our country so far back,

01:25that was so bad for our country?

01:28With the auto pen, how would it work?

01:29Like, we're in the Oval Office right now.

01:31If there was a group of rogue staffers that worked for you

01:34who wanted to advance a bill or an executive order without your knowledge,

01:40how could they do it?

01:42How do they go behind a president's back?

01:44Well, it's very hard because I'd read your newspapers or your media the next day

01:47and I'd say, well, I didn't approve that.

01:49And I would find it.

01:50I mean, they wouldn't get away with it for long

01:52because I'd say, I never signed that.

01:53Who the hell signed that?

01:55Auto pens, to me, are used to sign letters to people

02:00because we get, I think they said, 20,000 letters a week.

02:03And you like to be able, when somebody takes the time to write a letter,

02:07it's nice to sort of write back, and auto pens are meant for that.

02:11Auto pens are not meant to sign major proclamations or tax cuts or borders,

02:16anything having to do with the border, which is so important.

02:19And if it happened on my watch, I would be able to see it

02:23because the next day or sooner I'd be reading about something

02:26that I knew nothing about and who the hell signed this.

02:29So I almost never used the auto pen.

02:31In fact, yesterday I was signing about 81, I think it was 81 proclamations.

02:37And statements to people that I think should be signed by us.

02:42I think when you write letters to foreign dignitaries

02:46or presidents or prime ministers,

02:48you should be signing those letters, not done with auto pens.

02:51I understand he signed almost everything with an auto pen.

02:55It's a very dangerous thing.

02:56It really means you're not president.

02:58Whoever operated the auto pen, and we think we know who that is,

03:01and it was actually more than one person.

03:05But that's not what the presidency is all about.

03:09I hardly used to know.
