00:00Sailing down the Lee River in Yangshuo, China needs to be at the top of your travel list this year.
00:04If these mountains look familiar, that's probably because they are.
00:07The Karst Mountains in Yangshuo are an iconic place.
00:10Images of these mountains have been used in Chinese art for thousands of years.
00:13And if you're visiting Yangshuo, you have to ride on a bamboo raft.
00:16For centuries, locals have used these rafts for transportation.
00:19They are also used for fishing and carrying goods between villages.
00:23Now while as you can see, there are still locals who glide down the Lee River fishing on their own bamboo rafts,
00:28it's really common for tourists to come here and enjoy the view.
00:30Along the shores of the Lee River, there are elderly women who sell homemade flower crowns.
00:34She asked for 10 yuan, which is a little bit over a dollar.
00:37Now, how to get here?
00:38If you're planning a trip to Hong Kong, then it's really simple to get to Yangshuo from there.
00:42Yes, quite literally, in only three and a half hours, you can make your way from Hong Kong all the way to Yangshuo.
00:47I recommend coupling a trip to Yangshuo with a visit to Xingping Ancient Town.
00:51This is a really cute little town that dates back 1700 years.
00:54China has never been easier to visit visa-free for so many nationalities, including Americans.
00:59So what are you waiting for?
