00:00Being Cat 1 again is a key element to our academy.
00:03We need to be able to attract quality young players
00:06to be able to build and fill in our ranks, so to speak.
00:10And we want those players to be local.
00:12We want those players to be within our catchment area
00:15so that we can see the homegrown talent and keep them here
00:18and see them play on the first team eventually.
00:21It's one of our goals and objectives to become a developmental team,
00:26a developmental club.
00:27So whether that talent comes locally,
00:30we prefer it to come locally or from abroad,
00:32we want to bring them in, make them better,
00:35and if they choose to leave, then they'll leave a better person,
00:39a better talent, a better player,
00:41and if they choose to stay, fantastic.
00:43They'll be a great part of our club.
00:45We're just making the strides that we need to,
00:47and sometimes for us it doesn't go as quickly,
00:49but it is definitely remarkable to see the steps that we've achieved
00:53and that through his leadership it's been,
00:56and through the hard work of all of our staff,
00:59we've been able to see quite a difference since we've taken over.
01:03So that's one of them.
