00:15And this remarkable person has generously sponsored numerous sports teams in Worthing,

00:20and has been a guiding light for many families navigating the pain of grief.

00:25He has provided invaluable support to various charities and organisations throughout Worthing,

00:32organising multiple fundraising events, including quizzes, sports days and car washes.

00:39His amazing contributions also include connecting with the player liaison at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club,

00:47and allowing children and young people to create unforgettable memories and meet beloved players.

00:53Now, with countless nominations, as you would expect, and heartfelt stories of gratitude,

00:58it is clear that his impact is profound.

01:01Ladies and gentlemen, the Outstanding Contribution to Worthing Award, Mr Ian Hart!

01:06What does that mean to you?

01:08Everything. Thank you.

01:11There's a lot of people in this room that thanked me when I needed it, and they've supported me,

01:17and a lot of people have believed in me and asked me to look after their families at very difficult times.

01:21I couldn't have done it without my family, two of them that are here,

01:25and I couldn't have done it without all my team at my office.

01:29I couldn't have done it without the people at Worthing, so thank you very much.

01:32Well done, Ian.

01:33You wanted to go up in a football club, you love, don't you?

01:35Yes, yeah, but I do love Worthing Football Club as well.

01:38Yay!

01:39I got my choice involved many years ago, but when we were going out of business,

01:44so there's another champion there.

01:46I've kept the football club going, and we will go up all day.

01:49Yeah, quite frankly, we've had it up and down the season.

01:54It's been good, it's been bad, and it's been ugly.

01:57But to beat Spurs twice, it's just made it.

01:59Yeah!

02:01And can I just mention one more person?

02:04Greg Grundy is a big, big factor in my career,

02:08because he told me 22 years ago to go for it,
