Addressing a backlog of pension applications, Minister of the People and Social Development Vandana Mohit today gave an update on the numbers.

00:00As of now, approximately 2,292 applications are stalled due to delays in the mandatory verification process by the National Insurance Board.
00:13And this situation has placed already vulnerable individuals into further financial hardship, and this is simply unacceptable.
