U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the Trump administration is "aggressively" working to revoke the visas of Chinese students.

00:10In a post on X, Rubio said the measure would include students with ties to the Chinese

00:14Communist Party and those studying in critical fields.

00:18The State Department is also revising criteria to enhance scrutiny for all future applications

00:22from China, including Hong Kong.

00:25International students are one of the largest sources of revenue for American universities,

00:29with those from China making up around a quarter of all foreign students in the U.S.
