00:01Just trying to stay focused, make sure I'm getting my right routines in,

00:22For you and the next step in your career, Jamar,

00:24is it just about challenging yourself,

00:25and what are you trying to get out of yourself this next year?

00:29Yeah, challenging myself, pushing guys around me,

00:33learning more of the offense, learning more of the defenses,

00:36seeing the small things in defense like pre-snap tails, hopefully.

00:41Just be a bad person.

00:42Why do you think you were able to have such an elite season last year?

00:45What was the big shift and change for you in your game?

00:49I played with a chip on my shoulder, like my rookie year.

00:52It was a lot on my mind, as everyone's seen from my Kansas City clip,

00:58me crashing out.

00:59So, I mean, I'm glad that I got that off my chest.

01:02How do you fabricate a chip on your shoulder if there is none?

01:05You've been paid now.

01:06I mean, how do you get that chip again?

01:08You stay motivated and find ways to have a chip

01:12because we didn't make the playoffs two years straight.

01:13So that's my chip right there.

01:15Do you find mean tweets or anything?

01:16Do you find something to read?

01:17I'm a social media guy.

01:18I see y'all stuff, but I don't pay attention to it.

01:20As soon as I see it, I get off.

01:22What's the biggest motivating thing for you right now going into this year,

01:25having accomplished everything that you did last year?

01:28Really, my biggest thing this year going forward is making the playoffs, man.

01:31We've got to get to the playoffs.

01:33That's my first step, but team goals is to win the division.

01:38When do you start thinking about your own?

02:04but right now is the time where I start to put it together.

02:08How beneficial is it to have UT?

02:10I know the workout bonus is there,

02:11but having UT and Joe working together this early, getting all these reps in,

02:16how much does that benefit y'all moving forward, do you think?

02:19I want to say this is our first – I want to say this is our second time,

02:23having everyone here, getting an opportunity to work with Joe again

02:26and get established with the offense, help us move around, learn more.

02:32You know, we're coming back, getting to see a new defense every day.

02:35I think that's pretty cool.

02:36So there's a lot of things that's going to get us better

02:38from just getting back early and working.
