00:01About the current dooms in Finland. There is so much happening in that genre in Finland at the moment.
00:09First one is Vainaja. I really like their music.
00:15They released 2020 EP Kiviristi, which is first part of the concept album.
00:24I don't know when they will be releasing the second part or next part of that concept album, but really much looking forward into it.
00:36Their music is so grinding. The blades of doom metal go so slow and so deep into the darkness.
00:48It's awesome. It's beautiful what they do.
00:52So, Vainaja, absolutely. I finished a middle band. You will need to check out.
01:00Second one is Kualaman Laakso, I want to mention.
01:03They haven't released that much music recently, but from their Facebook page we can understand that something is cooking.
01:13They have done the composing arrangement for the new songs and really much looking forward to their announcement about the new album at some point in the future.
01:28Kualaman Laakso is having lots of influences from Tripticon and that is something that I appreciate a lot.
01:36And actually, Vicentura, the guitarist from Tripticon, was producing their second album, Tuli Joltzen.
01:43So, Kualaman Laakso, second doom metal band for you to check.
01:49The third band is Salothos and I want to bring up their latest album, The Realm of Ash and Blood.
01:58It's so awesome. If we take the Spectrum of Doom, I think that that is from the darkest extreme of that spectrum.
02:10It's having excellent atmosphere. They are having more musical aspects there.
02:19Not only for that grinding and growing vocals and everything like that, but also the musical elements, the instrumentals in there.
02:29So, I see that for me everything is very well in place in this album.
02:37Actually, quite the latest news is that they will be re-releasing their debut album, The Summoned from the Void, at some point into the near future.
02:51So, I'm also looking forward into that.
02:55So, third band from the Finnish doom scene is Salothos for you to check out.
