00:22and by 8 p.m., that forecast became a harsh reality,

00:26with lightning and thunder erupting across the Alamo City.

00:30Despite the damage, the rain is a welcome relief.

00:34San Antonio has only received half the rainfall it usually gets by this point in the year.

00:40The rest of the week, a mixed bag, scattered showers, thunderstorms, and sun.

00:46Today's forecast, a 20 chance of rain, highs near 91 degrees Fahrenheit,
