00:00It's been amazing learning about what's inside the hive.

00:19I used to be scared of bees, but now I realize how important they are to all ecosystems.

00:25I've even got my own hive at home now.

00:43This is a blueberry farm. You can have a single blueberry without bees.

00:56We've got 67,000 blueberry plants on our farm and we harvest between September and end of December.

01:05And we bring the bees into every block for a pollination schedule.

01:09And without bees, to be honest with you, we wouldn't have any blueberries on this farm.

01:13That just shows how important bees are to blueberries and all the other fruits.

01:20Over the pollination schedule this year, we will have a total of about 200 beehives come in and out this farm.

01:27And there are 50,000 bees per hive, which means this year between May and December, there will be a million bees that would have worked on this blueberry farm.
