00:00Gridlines are these gray lines that divide the cell, but sometimes it makes sense to disable
00:04or remove these grid lines. There are four basic ways to disable or remove these grid lines. I
00:09will also demonstrate how to remove the grid lines for specific cell towards the end of the video.
00:13The first method is to use the ribbon. Go to view and under show there's this grid line. Just remove
00:18the checkbox to remove the grid line. The second method is to use the hard key alternate wvg which
00:24will disable the grid line and again alternate wvg will enable the grid line again. The third
00:29way is to use Excel option. Go to file and then go to options and after that on this menu here
00:37on the tab, I'm going to click on advanced and scroll all the way down until you see display option.
00:42Just remove the checkbox and you can see the grid lines gone. To remove grid line for specific cell,
00:48you highlight the cells that you want to remove the grid line, go to home, go font,
00:52and basically change the fill color to white.
