00:01What was your general verdict on the game?

00:04It felt like you got into some counter-attacking positions

00:07and just couldn't find that last bit quality.

00:09Yeah, I think today I have two feelings.

00:12I'm not really pleased with our performance today,

00:16especially with our, not in general,

00:19a few players I think didn't play 100% for the team,

00:24how we want to play and I didn't like to see.

00:29And I think that's why we got the draw,

00:33because there were so many situations

00:35and we could have won this game.

00:38And I don't forget our start into the season

00:42where it was a little bit similar.

00:44We missed our chances, we missed our opportunities

00:47because of a little bit lack of determination.

00:53And this is what I felt today

00:55and that's why I'm not really pleased with today's performance.

00:58And on the other side, of course,

01:00it's an unbeaten end of the season,

01:03a point record, winning the FA Cup.

01:06So, fantastic season overall.

01:08And hopefully we learn from this game

01:11when we meet for pre-season next year,

01:15that we don't make the same mistakes again.

01:21Do you think maybe it was a difficult game for the players

01:24to get excited for, to get up for?

01:26You had almost a bit of a pre-event before the big thing for Liverpool,

01:31and it just kind of felt maybe...

01:33We always can find excuses.

01:34You know, it's easy to find excuses

01:36and then we would have been relegated.

01:38If we always find excuses, we will be at the end of the table.

01:42So, if we always excuse everything,

01:44and there's always a reason for something,

01:46there's always a reason for missing a chance,

01:48there's always a reason for whatever.

01:50But we prepared in a professional way.

01:53We arrived yesterday.

01:54So, if somebody doesn't want to play today,

01:57just tell me.

01:58He could have stayed at home in London.

02:02But when we go to Liverpool playing here at Enfield,

02:05in front of, I don't know, 60,000,

02:08then I expect 100% focus, 100% determination,

02:12100% commitment.

02:14I think not every single player had today.

02:17And I guess for you it's a general sense of frustration.

02:20Is it ultimately a sloppy goal that's cost the football club

02:23upwards of £3 million?

02:26I don't think about the money.

02:28We're talking about raising our standards.

02:30And that's why a few things I could see today I don't accept.

02:33And this is just my feeling today.

02:36But again, it's maybe a little bit unfair

02:42when you see it in the big picture all over the season.

02:46But, you know, I know why we are now where we are.

02:50And if we have the mindset from today, next season,

02:53we will struggle again.

02:54And this is, I don't want to experience again.

02:57And can I just ask about the Roman SA substitution?

02:59You brought him on about ten minutes later.

03:01Was that an injury or was it due to the way the goal was conceded?

03:05He knows why, and that's enough.

03:08And just on a positive note,

03:11has maybe Sal another goal today?

03:13It's 19 goals in the season.

03:16It's been a pretty sensational addition.

03:18Yes, the goal is, you know, the goal was 100% Crystal Palace football.

03:23We lose the ball, then we go in a great counterpress.

03:25And then it's the habits.

03:27When T Mitchell wins the ball and he knows that our far ten is free.

03:31So we scored so many goals like this.

03:32And then I expect that we are that focused

03:34because you have just time for two or three touches.

03:37And T found him.

03:38T had an excellent game.

03:39T was fantastic today.

03:40And then he runs one against the keeper.

03:44But not everybody had this focus to find the free player with two or three touches

03:48that it's needed when you play against the champion.

03:51And I know that it's not just the individual quality.

03:58It's just we didn't have this focus on everybody.

04:01But yeah, the goal was fantastic.

04:04How it happened and how Ismaila finished.

04:08But again, you can find many of these goals.

04:14What frustrated you the most, Oliver, in terms of

04:17was it too many good situations that we put to waste in that sort of second trial?

04:21No.

04:22I thought that not everybody played 100% for the team.

04:29There was a little bit of ego trips in a few situations

04:36and that's what I don't like.

04:39So, seeing as we're not finishing on such a positive in that sense

04:43in the performance today, but overall it's been fantastic.

04:47What are your hopes for next season?

04:49What do you think we can achieve with this team?

04:51I don't know how the team will look like next season.

04:55In three months it's the transfer window open.

04:58Nobody knows what happens.

05:00I think we have not reached our ceiling as a team.

05:09Definitely not.

05:10But therefore it needs really hard work and also always being ready to invest

05:17in every single training and every single game.

05:19We'll have a noise off.

05:20Now it's not thinking about football for a few weeks and then prepare

05:24to be ready for the start of the season.

05:27And then, again, I never think about which position we'll have

05:33at the end of the season or whatever.

05:35It's just how can we raise our performance.

05:38And, again, in every single game I can see enough to do.

05:45It doesn't get boring.
