00:00I thought actually it was a good football game between two good teams.

00:29I thought we went toe-to-toe with Liverpool, especially in the first half.

00:35I thought that was a very even first half,

00:38where they scored a goal on a defensive transition from our corner,

00:41where we were this close to getting a first contact at front post.

00:48And then of course we needed to do better, win the 50-50 on the edge of the box

00:51and deal with the 2-2 situation.

00:56And we got a massive chance to Christian Neuergaard, a free-hitter.

01:00So we could easily be in 1-1 or 1-0 up, or it could be 0-0.

01:03So a very even first half, which I'm very satisfied with.

01:07Probably our best first half here at Anfield in the four years we've been here.

01:11The second half, I thought we were still in the game.

01:15Not as even, but still in the game.

01:19Until the 2-0 goal, a big chance to Nathan Collins.

01:24It was a great save from Alisson, but after 2-0, it was more or less game over.

01:30In the end, I think Liverpool won fair and square,

01:35but there's definitely things I'm positive about,

01:38especially in the first 60 minutes or something like that.

01:44Tobi, you said before this match that Liverpool would be frightening on this ground.

01:49Do you feel that today?

01:51You said it was your best first half against Liverpool,

01:54are you actually quite pleased with that?

01:56I'm very pleased with the first half, I think there was so much positive in that,

02:00I don't think Liverpool really created anything besides the goal,

02:04which is a situation we need to deal with better.

02:08The second half, they created more,

02:12and either we couldn't keep up the level, or they upped their level.

02:17That I need to look more into, there were a few duels I don't think we won enough in the high pressure,

02:23and I think the first half felt we kept the ball quite well and got out of Liverpool's press.

02:28We didn't do that as well in the second half.

02:34you said last weekend that the deal isn't close, is that still the case?

03:21how are you feeling going into that,

03:23and where does the Carabao Cup rank in terms of priorities for the rest of the season?

03:26It ranks high, it's a tournament we've done well in.

03:32I think last year we also went very strong against Arsenal,

03:35lost narrowly 1-0, really wanted a cup run.

03:39Before that it was quarter-final and semi-final,

03:42so we really want to go on a cup run.

03:44Of course, I play three games this week, so I'll use the squad,

03:50but I'll play a strong team, I want to progress,

03:53with all due respect for Colchester,

03:55that I know will do everything they can to win the game.
