Jaipur (Rajasthan), May 24, 2025 (ANI): IMD Scientist Radheshyam Sharma said, "In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature has been reported in South West Rajasthan's Jaisalmer... It's 48°C in Jaisalmer, followed by 47.5°C in Barmer. In some parts of eastern Rajasthan, the maximum temperature has been reported to be from 45-46°C. Severe heat wave conditions persist in many places in western Rajasthan, whereas some parts of eastern Rajasthan are currently experiencing heat waves."
