01:12Let me remind you what the Prime Minister has said in the ongoing meet.
01:16Prime Minister Modi has said that India has to increase the speed of development.
01:21That's the message that's gone on to all states.
01:24He also has gone ahead and told all chief ministers and union ministers
01:31that if the centre and all the states come together and work together like Team India,
01:36no goal is impossible.
01:38So development at the heart of this meeting that's taking place in the national capital.
01:46Meanwhile, Jairam Ramesh of the Congress party and several other leaders
01:51have cornered the government on this meeting.
01:57Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has gone ahead and asked as to what kind of developed India
02:03will it be when the people in power are busy destroying the fabric of social harmony
02:08through their own words and actions.
02:10So the Congress not happy with some of the comments being made in this meeting.
02:16Remember earlier the Congress party had said and these comments were made by the Congress
02:33ahead of this meeting that called the Neeti Aayog as the most incompetent body ever
02:39and it's full of hypocrisy and diversion is what the Congress party had said in the build-up
02:47to this key meeting.

03:02Shreya, could you tell us what exactly is it that the opposition primarily is miffed with
03:09as far as the meeting is concerned?
03:11Is there a fund allocation perhaps that's not gone their way?
03:14You know, this is something Harsh that we've been seeing since the last few Neeti Aayog meetings
03:21that have been happening mostly.
03:23Non-BJP states have had the problem suggesting that fund allocation is a problem.
03:28But so far as what the Prime Minister has said, he said that this is a time to speed development
03:34and we together have to work like Team India.
03:37So this is a message that the Prime Minister has for now given to all the states.
03:42Has the Prime Minister also in his comments outlined what steps should be taken to achieve this goal?
03:50Well, what he basically is underlying is that at least one tourist destination for every state
04:02has to be aligned with the global standards.
04:05So what they're basically trying to suggest is that all the facilities and infrastructure
04:08in these tourist destinations of every state together, if they work for that,
04:14then it will be like a one state, one global destination
04:16so that it will also become one of the reasons for development for all the neighbouring cities
04:21as tourist points.
04:22So this is a focal point that the Prime Minister has brought forth before all the states.
04:27It would be interesting how everyone responds to it,
04:30but this is a collective mission that the Prime Minister is hinting at
04:34where all the states, if they work together, it will be about one nation,
04:38but it will also be actually developing the resources of each states
04:42given that these tourist destinations that the Prime Minister is highlighting
04:45should be equal to all the infrastructure and development of global standard levels.
04:51As far as, you know, the non-BJP-ruled states are concerned, Shreya,
04:59what's the attendance like?
05:02Have there been representation or representatives from all non-BJP-ruled states
05:07or have some gone ahead and given this meeting a miss?
05:12We have seen many chief ministers give this a miss.
05:15However, we've also seen non-BJP-CMs that include the likes of Karnataka.
05:22They have also participated in this BTIO meeting concern.
05:26But if we talk about the details of it,
05:28what the Prime Minister has holistically trying to give a message
05:31is about a development that would work together for a country,
05:35but it could also be a respective development of each of these.
05:39So this is something that the Prime Minister has highlighted,
05:41but also see how the respective states,
05:44especially the ones who are not participating in the meeting,
05:47how they react to it, because that would be interesting.
05:49Because in the previous NITI-IO meeting,
05:52Sarshan, it's always seen that this has been a problem into politics
05:55rather than a development project that's worked together.
05:58Because earlier as well, we've seen non-BJP state CMs
06:02not being part of the meeting,
06:04and they've subsequently sent out messages in the media
06:07as well as letters to the Prime Minister
06:09highlighting that the main point of contention is central funds not releasing.
06:13So that stays, that hasn't really changed.
06:15But irrespectively, this messaging is more about developing India
06:19as a global tourist hub,
06:20because that's clearly one of the directions
06:22that we can directly reach from what the Prime Minister
06:24is wishing to highlight.

06:32some of the opening comments made by the Prime Minister?
06:36There was, I believe, an emphasis on entrepreneurship
06:38and an accelerated pace of development?
06:42Well, yes.
06:43What is the development was one of the main key focus
06:46that the Prime Minister was hinting at.
06:48And this is something, not just economic development,
06:51but infrastructure development
06:52that would be a long-withstanding thing.
06:55Subsequently, when we talk about developing entrepreneurs,
06:58you remember, even earlier,
07:00we've heard similar statements coming from Piyush Goyal as well
07:02during the start-up festival that he organized,
07:05that every individual in the country
07:07will have to holistically put together ideas.
07:09That would also put your country at the top.
07:13And that's a similar thing
07:14that the Prime Minister is highlighting
07:16about how entrepreneurs should come up
07:18with new developing ideas.
07:19And AI has always been a focal point
07:22of this government, particularly,
07:24that we also do know, Harshit.
07:26But not just that.
07:27Here the Prime Minister is talking about
07:29infrastructure development, economic,
07:31as well as that translates into
07:34global tourist hubs in every state in this country.
