00:01En Frank Caraccia's second time directing the comic duo

00:04They play single parents

00:06Hello everybody

00:08Whose blind date goes badly wrong

00:11But who then cross paths and swords again

00:14In Africa

00:15When you got the script, why did you decide to base it in South Africa?

00:20The nice thing about this movie, it's about parents who really want their kids to have a great life

00:24And they obviously are struggling and they're not that wealthy

00:27And to me the ultimate vacation would be to go on a safari in Africa

00:32That sounds like a rich man's vacation I could never afford

00:34And secretly I have been many places in the world

00:38I haven't been anywhere in Africa

00:39And I always wanted to go to South Africa

00:41It was always on my list of places

00:43And it worked out that it was suggested by the studio

00:46And I said, that's perfect for the movie

00:48It just clicked and I was like, that's great

00:50And then I went there for a scout

00:52And it was even more beautiful than I imagined

00:55And beyond that, what really struck me right away was

00:58You know, you go to Rome and it's 2,000 years old

01:00You go to Africa and it just goes back to the beginning of time

01:03And it's just gorgeous

01:05Anywhere I turn my camera

01:06I was like, this is the best backdrop ever for a big summer movie

01:10But a movie, there's a spirituality that's there

01:13And the people and the culture

01:15You feel that in Africa

01:16I feel it

01:17And it's got an edge too though

01:19You know, it's not just, you know, just beautiful

01:21It's like, even going on a safari, seeing animals kill each other

01:25It's got this rawness

01:27And it's like nothing else

01:28It's beautiful

01:29It's beautiful in every way

01:30And the experience I had was like

01:33You go there and you watch wildlife happen

01:36And you go, what am I getting stressed out about?

01:38My life, some stupid thing about

01:40I don't know

01:41You get caught up in little dumb stuff

01:43When you see nature happening like that

01:46On that scale

01:46It makes you have a perspective

01:48That is hard

01:49You take it back with you

01:50And I wanted that to be part of the movie

01:52Isn't this place fantastic?

01:54So romantic

01:55We are not dating

01:56My mom is freaking hot

01:58Ew!

02:01Watching the movie

02:02I was so proud actually to be South African

02:04Because it was the best advert actually for our country

02:08So it was beautiful

02:09And you could see that Frank did travel stories before

02:11Because just the way that he shot it was

02:15Now, you guys are so funny

02:18And I think the world is going to be really, really happy

02:20To see you fall in love again

02:55What was your favorite, favorite part?

02:58Rory Stain and his family

03:01He made sure that we knew what was going on

03:04Because, you know, we just got to South Africa

03:06And we didn't know where to go

03:08And where to hang out

03:09And what to do

03:10And he took care of us

03:11And I got to say

03:12He's one of my good friends now

03:13We came real tight

03:15And I love the guy

03:16And if he's watching

03:18And Dale Stain will want me to hear too

03:20What about the great Dale Stain?

03:23I know he's going to want to hear from you guys

03:25He's the bowler

03:25Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah

03:26He's a great guy

03:27And man, is he funny in the movie

03:29He is great in the movie

03:31I didn't know that he was going to be in it

03:32So when I saw him, I laughed

03:34What a good guy

03:35And we hung out a little bit

03:37And got to know each other

03:38And he's a really smooth, funny dude

03:41Okay, you're going to call me in 10 minutes

03:46An avalanche in our backyard

03:50It's an emergency

03:51You make the funniest movies ever

03:53What's it like working?

03:54I mean, it's 10 years now

03:57It's 15, 16 years since we did The Wedding Singer

03:59It was great because we stayed friends

04:01But, you know, as you get older

04:02You see each other less

04:03So it was a chance to really get back together

04:05But it was like

04:05We just picked up where we left off

04:07I mean, I think Adam and Drew

04:09When they're together

04:10They make each other better

04:11And now they were comedically fearless

04:14Because it wasn't like this

04:15Awkward getting to know each other phase

04:17We jumped right into it

04:18And the challenge of this movie was

04:20They sort of hate each other in the beginning

04:22And by the end

04:23The audience is rooting for them to be together

04:25And it was exciting

04:27And I think we couldn't have pulled this off

04:28When they first knew each other

04:30But now that they know each other

04:32There's a trust, there's a respect

04:33But the magic was still there

04:35When they kissed it

04:36It was like sparks were flying

04:37It was really cool

04:38This is so pretty!

04:42We're out of gas!
