00:00So, you're in this big thriller action film with Liam Neeson. What made you want to do the project?
00:10What did I just do before? I had just done Tusk, if I am not mistaken. I want to keep it interesting.
00:18I always like to keep it interesting as an actress. I like to do different jobs, and I love Liam Neeson movies.
00:25I love them. I'm an avid Liam supporter. So, I really thought this script was really cool to see him against Ed Harris.
00:34It's like the famous battle. So, it was cool. It was really cool to witness all that and to be a part of it.
00:42It was a wonderful experience. I got to be a mom. I've never had that before.
00:48I mean, I have dogs, but it's definitely not the same thing. Definitely not the same thing.
00:54You have to think about so much before yourself, and you have this belly and the circumference of your mobility is not the same.
01:04How was it working with that? It was so weird. It was so weird. My whole walk changed. I lost all my swagger. It went away. It was done.
01:15It was like I look like I've been through the whole movie, throughout the whole thing too. No makeup, nothing.
01:25Now, I've heard actors say that sometimes it's harder playing a supporting role. So, can you talk about your process for that?
01:31Because you kind of have to just like jump in there and jump in there. Yeah, it's weird because like you're waiting, waiting, waiting to do your scenes and then you have to go do your scenes and do it and then you just have to wait again until you have to do your other scenes and stuff.
01:48And it was, I mean, it's, I love acting. This is, this is my favorite thing in the world to do. And these are amazing actors and to be in any scenes with these guys, it's like a win.
02:01So, I didn't care if it was supporting. I just knew it was a great project. That's what I'm here to do. I want to be a leading lady. I want to be a cameo. I want to be supporting. I'm an actress. This is what I love. I don't care how, there's no small part.
02:16This is true. And you've had a very versatile career because you've done animation and comedy and action. Is there one that you feel more at home with? No.
02:26They all scare me. They all challenge me. They all give me so much life. Like I feel at home every single time I'm acting and I feel so useful. Like that's the only thing that I really know how to do and like to do.
02:42So, I just try to mix it up because I want to entertain people in all sorts of movies. And I love the idea of movies. I love what it represents. I love the culture of Hollywood. I can't believe I'm a part of it. Like the history of it. It's so beautiful to have that and to leave that for so many generations. It's a gift. So, I want to keep doing it as much as I can.
03:09Do you have any advice for people who want to be actors and maybe kind of transition to going to Hollywood as well?
03:17I do. Do it. Do it. Make it happen. Make things happen for yourself. It's hard. It's not easy. But if you stay focused and you're dedicated to what you love, there's no way that there can be a no.
03:32And if people do tell you no, then do it yourself. Get a buddy. Get a director friend. Get some writers. Think of something. Put yourself out there and make something happen for yourself.
03:43And I know because a lot of the action is happening around you in this and you don't have much action scenes. Is this inspiring you to do more action films hopefully in the future?
03:53I'm usually the one holding the gun in the action movies and that's very strange to be the running victim.
04:00Yeah. And I kind of, I want to go, next action movie I do, I definitely want to hold the gun again because it was weird.
04:09What do you hope people take away from this film?
04:13I believe in second chances. I mean definitely when it comes to family and stuff.
04:19I think that blood is thicker than water and that definitely is like the running theme in this movie about family.
04:28It's a good one. It's definitely a good message.
04:31Do you think you have qualities that you share with your character?
04:34I think she's a lot tougher than I am. But I did see like this compassionate wife. I just, I would have liked to seen more.
04:49I would have liked to seen like, I don't know, a happy day where they went to go get ice cream. But that, you know, I just imagined it.
04:55I hope they're happy.
04:58Talk about working with Joel.
05:01Joel is awesome. Joel is just really cool dude.
05:05He would walk in to make up and he was always listening to hip hop or some really good music.
05:12And I was like, damn, you know your music stuff.
05:15You like hip hop too?
05:16I love hip hop.
05:17Favorite rapper?
05:18Ooh, that's a toughie.
05:21I love Jay Z. I love Kanye. I love Kendrick Lamar.
05:26I could go real hip hop on you and I don't want to scare you.
05:33That's okay.
05:34I don't want to scare you.
05:35I don't want to scare you.
05:36Okay. Well thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate it.
05:39Thank you.
05:40And I really like the film. It's a great action thriller. It got me stressed out.
05:42I know. I recommend everyone who's going to see it to buy a lot of stuff to eat because
05:47Popcorn. I love popcorn.
05:48Yeah, you're going to get stressed out and you want to, you're going to nervous eat.
05:51Because you can't do things with your hands and you're going to be on the edge of your seat.
05:55Might as well get something to eat.
05:57Yeah, I agree.
05:58100%.
05:59Thank you.
06:00Thank you.
06:01Thank you.
06:02Thank you.
06:07Thank you.
06:08Can you hear me?
06:14Yes.
06:15Do you notice anything, please.
06:17I will see you.
06:20That's it.
06:23It's a natural Ideaનast
06:26I really want you to laugh from.
