During a press briefing on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt spoke about ongoing talks between President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

00:00I want to follow up on his call with Prime Minister Netanyahu and his effort to deal with Iran.

00:07Does he feel like he has the Prime Minister's support in this effort at this point,

00:12or did the Prime Minister raise concerns to him in this conversation?

00:16I won't get further into the private discussion between the President and the Prime Minister,

00:21but surely they have a good relationship, one that's built on transparency and trust,

00:25and the President has made it very clear to not just Prime Minister Netanyahu,

00:29but also the world, that he wants to see a deal with Iran struck if one can be struck.

00:35He does not want to have to take the latter option, the more severe and negative option.

00:39He wants to see a deal.

00:40The President is a dealmaker, and he believes strongly in diplomacy,

00:43and he's made that clear to the Prime Minister, but also to all of you and, frankly, the rest of the world.
