00:00Leather makes his way out as a brand new Texas Rattler.
00:04He's got one brother here, but there are 13 total siblings
00:10that they have had to fight that dinner table for.
00:14There's a ton of Australians in the house with us here tonight,
00:17and Texas is piling more Australians into their lineup
00:22with a very talented veteran right here.
00:25Started riding to open rodeos at 16, fell in love with it,
00:31started PBR Australia 18, became a 2023 champ, 2021 Rookie of the Year,
00:36and now from Australia straight to the Texas Rattlers
00:39along with Brady Fielder and company.
00:46Congratulations, the newest member of the Texas Rattlers.
00:49How does that sound?
00:51Pretty damn good, eh?
00:52That's about what we're going to get from this guy.
00:54We learned that earlier today.
00:55We had a chance to sit down and visit, and Coach Lambert,
00:58the little bit of conversation we had with him earlier this afternoon,
01:02he looks like he fits right into your locker room.
01:05I think he's our kind of guy, and we talked a little bit today,
01:11and I feel like it's going to be a really good fit.
01:14I was shocked.
01:16I've got to give my son credit for getting this done
01:19because that's the guy we wanted.
01:21That's the guy that you guys had your eyes on, Riley,
01:23from the beginning, and you ended up with him.
01:25How excited are you in this organization right now?
01:28I'm just still coming down off the high, to be real honest.
01:32It was a long process packed into about 10 minutes,
01:37and I'm having a hard time.
01:39Talked about it.
01:40You were kind of just kind of relishing in the moment,
01:42getting here to the United States, being here for a few days,
01:45and now all of a sudden thrown right into the mix.
01:47We were there, you guys were all having conversations and passing,
01:51and you kind of acted like this was a place that you wouldn't mind being.
01:55Now you're part of the Rattlers organization.
01:58A little bit more emotion, if you don't mind.
02:02I know it's going to be tough, but you talked about Brady Fielder
02:04and what you've seen him accomplish, and now what are the goals for you?
02:08Yeah, I mean, Rattlers has gone a long way,
02:11and I think it's thanks to this team and that,
02:14so I'm just keen to get started and get to work,
02:17and hopefully do the same.
02:19Holy hell, I've never seen a guy that fit more into a locker room
02:22than this guy with Cody Lambert and the Texas Rattlers.
02:24Macaulay, congratulations, the newest member of the Texas Rattlers.
02:30The Rattlers were in need of a left-handed talent,
02:32and they found it in Australia.
02:35Take a look at what he's capable of.
02:37Into his hand, away from his hand, Macaulay Leather,
02:39exactly what Cody Lambert is needing.
