Transcript
00:00Molly, you good?
00:02Yes.
00:02Mr. President,
00:27should Republicans
00:28that hinder this bill
00:29be primary?
00:31Possibly.
00:32Possibly.
00:33We'll have to see.
00:34I think we have great...
00:35We have a very,
00:36very united party.
00:37This man has done
00:38a fantastic job.
00:39And so have you, Lisa.
00:41But this man has done
00:42a fantastic job.
00:44He's a real unifier.
00:46I don't think anybody
00:47else could have done it.
00:48We had, I just said
00:49to your cohorts downstairs,
00:51we had a majority of one
00:53for a period of five months.
00:55And he kept it together.
00:57And we actually cast things.
00:59Nobody else could have done that.
01:00He's done a fantastic job
01:01to speak.
01:02We have a very,
01:03very unified party.
01:04Remember,
01:05we had one
01:06and now we have seven.
01:07We won elections.
01:08We won elections.
01:09We're going to win
01:10a lot of elections.
01:11The economy is good.
01:12I just had my highest
01:13poll numbers ever.
01:15Ever.
01:16And we had a big trip
01:17to the Middle East.
01:18We took in $5.1 trillion.
01:20We brought it back to our country.
01:21180 aircraft are being built now
01:25because of that trip
01:26and many other things
01:27that's always started.
01:28The economy is doing great.
01:30The stock market is higher now
01:32than when I came to office.
01:33And we've taken in hundreds
01:35of billions of dollars
01:36in tariff money.
01:37And we've had no inflation.
01:38You know, they kept saying
01:39inflation.
01:40There's no inflation.
01:41Groceries are down.
01:43Gasoline is way down.
01:45Way down.
01:46Everything is down.
01:47All energy costs are down.
01:49I'll tell you, to me,
01:52maybe the most respected thing.
01:53You saw the way they respected me
01:55between Qatar and Saudi Arabia
01:57and UAE.
01:58Probably the richest,
02:00certainly the richest
02:01of their type nation.
02:02Great places.
02:03Unbelievable amounts of money.
02:05They respect our country again.
02:07They were going to go to China.
02:08China was going to take over
02:10those countries 100%.
02:11They were dealing with China
02:13because they weren't treated right
02:15by the last administration.
02:17And they have tremendous
02:18economic power.
02:19They have more money
02:20than anybody.
02:21We probably have more money,
02:22but we have other things
02:24like this.
02:25They are very, very,
02:26they are very cash rich,
02:27to put it mildly.
02:29And they're spending 5.1 trillion.
02:32Probably it's going to be
02:337 trillion by the time we stop.
02:35And, you know, somebody said,
02:37every other president goes
02:38and leaves and spends money,
02:40gives other countries money.
02:41I'm the only one that goes
02:42and takes money back.
02:44And, you know,
02:45when you think of it,
02:46I said, that's an interesting statement.
02:48I never thought of it that way.
02:49But we have a,
02:51this is really just a pep talk.
02:53We have a very unified house
02:56and we have a very unified Senate.
02:58And Mike is doing a phenomenal job.
03:00His speaker is going to be there
03:01a long time.
03:02And we have a man in the Senate,
03:04our leader Thune,
03:06Mr. Thune,
03:07is doing a great job.
03:09I've gotten to like him a lot
03:10and he's doing a fantastic job.
03:12Between the two guys,
03:14very different personalities
03:15actually in certain ways.
03:17But they are doing a fantastic job.
03:20I don't think the Republican Party
03:22has ever been so unified.
03:24It's become a much bigger party.
03:25You know, we're winning the labor vote.
03:27We're winning, we won the Teamsters.
03:29We won votes.
03:30And look how well we did
03:31with the automakers.
03:32And by the way,
03:33the president of the automakers
03:35is now my biggest fan.
03:36He said,
03:37he did tariffs.
03:38Do you know how many auto plants
03:39are being built now in this country
03:41because of the tariffs?
03:42Three just announced yesterday
03:44that they're building.
03:45There is a revolution going on,
03:48a positive one,
03:49in our country.
03:50And I love it.
03:51And we're doing really well.
03:53And we'll talk about it.
03:54The negotiations to stop,
03:55Mr. President.
03:56Do you want the negotiations
03:57to be over now?
03:58Which negotiation?
03:59Over this bill.
04:00Oh, yeah.
04:01Well, it's going to be.
04:02We're going to be putting it in soon.
04:03And I think we're going to have
04:04great support.
04:05We are going to make a couple of tweaks.
04:07I mean,
04:08we don't want to benefit
04:10Democrat governors.
04:11Although I would do that
04:12if it made it better.
04:13But they don't know what they're doing.
04:14We don't want to,
04:16we don't want to,
04:17we don't want to do any damage
04:18to a state.
04:20We want to help all the states.
04:21But we have governors
04:23that are from the Democrat Party.
04:25Let's say New York,
04:26Illinois, big ones.
04:27And let's say Gavin Newsom.
04:29Gavin Newsom,
04:30who's done a horrible job
04:31in California.
04:32You know,
04:33we want to benefit the company.
04:34We want to benefit Republicans
04:35because they,
04:36they are the ones
04:37that are going to make
04:38America great again.
04:39The Democrats
04:40are destroying our country.
04:41And you see that
04:42with the past administration,
04:43with an open borders policy
04:45that allowed 21 million people
04:47into our country.
04:48And many of those people
04:49are stone cold murderers,
04:51killers,
04:52and trouble.
04:53Yeah.
04:54There's a question.
04:55Are you ready to tell them
04:56the fiscal hawks
04:57you want to build this?
04:58What are you planning to tell them
04:59the fiscal hawks
05:00you want to build this?
05:01I'm a fiscal hawker.
05:02They don't think this
05:03comes out.
05:04I'm a bigger fiscal hawker.
05:05There's nobody like me
05:06as a fiscal hawker.
05:07That's more deficit than Biden did.
05:08And this was,
05:09this bill kind of...
05:10Because we have to fix the country.
05:11Do you think that
05:12Thomas Massey is correct
05:13in saying that this
05:14is adding Biden?
05:15No, I don't think
05:16Thomas Massey understands government.
05:18I think he's a grandstander,
05:20frankly.
05:21He'll probably vote.
05:22We don't even talk to him much.
05:23I think he should be voted
05:24out of office.
05:25And I just don't think
05:26he understands government.
05:27If you ask him
05:28a couple of questions,
05:29he never gives you an answer.
05:30He just says,
05:31I'm a no.
05:32He thinks he's going
05:33to get publicity.
05:34And you have that.
05:35You have that.
05:36They've got some too.
05:37Go ahead.
05:38Mr. President,
05:39on Medicaid,
05:40do you want work requirements
05:41based in next year?
05:42Here's what I want
05:43on Medicaid.
05:44We're not touching anything.
05:45All I want is one thing.
05:47Three words.
05:48We don't want any waste,
05:49fraud, or abuse.
05:50Very simple.
05:51Waste, fraud, abuse.
05:53Other than that,
05:54we're leaving it.
05:55Medicare,
05:56we're leaving it.
05:57All we're after,
05:58and this is for the good of it,
05:59is a lot of waste,
06:01fraud, and abuse.
06:02That's all we're doing.
06:03We're not touching it.
06:04The Democrats are going
06:05to destroy it.
06:06Thank you very much.
06:07Thank you very much.
06:08Mr. President,
06:09do you think you'll be able
06:10to convince Chip Roy
06:11and Ralph Norman
06:12to vote for this bill?
06:13What are these?
06:14We are concerned
06:15that it's in this room
06:16who want to vote.
06:17Waste, fraud, and abuse.
06:19That's all the cuts we've done.
06:20Thank you very much.
